  2. Same here. It showed up at neighbors.
  3.   tips on identifying the Amish & Mennonite vendors is welcome.
  4. I was going to post this over on the thread for TMF as an explanation for American ignorance regarding Ebola, but figured it's too early in the morning to get the joke.   So, here it is in the Narcissist thread, and it's still to early. But, at least young narcissist's might recognize time-to-time narcissism when narcissificated upon - http://www.breitbart.com/Breitbart-London/2014/10/04/Woman-who-married-herself-admits-friends-found-wedding-a-bit-narcissistic   Wile I did not check, I doubt if she cursed during her wedding vows. Maybe she did.  I am expecting that her parents certainly did.
  5. Thinking about a land-sea container too. Have no idea how to buy one of those in Knoxville area.
  6. Ouch. Fortunately, I do have a hefty concrete pad that is level.

  9. However you dress, look sharp, not slovenly when carrying.    Clean, neat, professional (even as a craftsman or road warrior).   As you potentially draw attentions to yourself, present a image of a person who is top of their game (whatever game that is).   Impress the audience as one who pays attention to detail. And..  even....if you are *not* carrying.
  10. Whatever you use to OC, make sure it is sharp looking, and matches your well-dressed attire.  Put your best forward.
  11. Me too. Routinely.  I **** up more stuff before noon than most folks manage to do all day. Heck, I usually do it before most folks finish their morning coffee.   And, if you ain't dead-nuts sure, always ask around *before* you do the job, not after.     [Once, I started my day out by watching a $150K, 75 lb  radiation detector descend two flights of stairs (about 50' total).  By itself.  Not me, but my team, my problem.  The rest of the week did not go well either.]
  12. that is the disassembly pin   http://www.midwayusa.com/product/186605/ruger-disassembly-pin-ruger-redhawk
  13. meh.  That Redhawk looks just fine like you have it in the picture.  Minimalist.   OR... you can just abandon all hope and ship it to me for forever care.
  14. SO..   I end up ordering a Ace Skeleton Entry Stock from a company that ends in "usa.com".   I spent several weeks poring over the various vendors and configurations (Ace really annoys me).    Chosen vendor's product description says "buffer extension included" and "carbine buffer not included" as well as "buffer spring not included".   Cool.  I order unit plus a DPMS carbine buffer and a JP polished buffer spring.   Supposed to arrive next week, actually arrives yesterday.... at neighbor's house...neighbor delivered today!   Cool!  I get to build my lower tonight!   WRONG :shake:   Apparently one of the versions of Ace configurations *DOES NOT* include the buffer extension, which is of course the one I received. :wall:
  15.   It is.   I was with Oleg and observed 6-8 guys shoot it at a range day a while back.    (I was recovering from a retinal tear, so was not shooting anything)
  16. Take I - the health care professionals   Take II -  the patients - http://abcnews.go.com/Health/ebola-patients-texas-contacts-zoom-80-authorities/story?id=25912405   (why quarantine will not work at-scale)
  17. a take on "moderate" Islam  - http://sultanknish.blogspot.com/2014/09/moderate-islam-is-our-new-religion.html   <"They ain't but one Islam, the one that prophet Mohammed (may he rest in peace) practiced.">
  18. Not commenting on the rest of your synopsis, but the highlighted above point is incorrect. Narcissm has absolutely nothing to do with intent  regarding others. It is by definition - oriented to self. Period.
  19.   add Del-Ton & R-Guns
  20. coincidentally, just a few minutes ago, I bought a can of 100% gas for mine.  Time to rotate out gas and do a oil change.   And being the anal-retentive guy I am, I change out the oil either seasonally, or when it shows a bit of stain.   And I use SeaFoam.   It's a 18 year old Coleman 5K with a Honda engine. Bought it when we were building the house. It still looks brand new.   B.
  21. But both are a measure of character.
  22. If you are going with Rohn R series, go ahead and do Rohn-45.  You will thank yourself in the future. easier to climb, work on, work with, and holds more with less guys.    Used 45 is much around same price range as new -25.    Buy it used - ~100/ straight section.  You can have it re-galvanized pretty cheaply.  I did ~120' in Nashville.   stay away from the HDBX stuff, for a multitude of reasons, (I speak as a current owner of all three types -25, -45, and HDBX)     DO NOT, DO NOT re-galvanize HDBX as it has aluminum rivets!  They dissolve in pickling brine.      BTW - if you want a major HF antenna, I have one for sale.  Force-12 C4-SXL (4 bands / shorty-40)
  23. I just looked at the msn site. Boy, that really does suck. Much more than used to be.
  24. Did you get the free upgrade to 8.1? I like it much better.
