  1. So, a (pretty & sharp) lawyer cuz of mine comments that LifeLock is more comprehensive coverage.   Thoughts?
  2. I note that the twinks over at the Tennessean are losing their mind over NRA.  This morning, they are blaming the NRA for sex-trafficking. (I refuse to link on their click-bait)
  3. Actually, I have no idea who this fool is.....  apparently he is famus.   But the popo noticed him.   http://www.local8now.com/home/headlines/Hip-hop-artist-Nelly-arrested-in-Tennessee-299472001.html
  4. I had an interesting event come up while establishing an account on a .gov website.   My SSN & other PI was required, so the system generates some security questions based on data from Esperian.   One or more of the questions was based on information that is not related to any aspect of my financial history, yet were not the "NA/does not apply".  They were not dummy questions.....apparently there is some incorrect info or possibly fraudulent info.    Of course, my alarm klaxon is full red alert.   Several things come to mind..... -  obviously I need to check the credit reporting and clean some stuff off of it.   - Then....   I wondered, "what do prospective employers see, and  how do I see what is "out there" on me?"    I know I can go to the local Oak Ridge Credit Bureau, and I probably will for advice, but I am thinking two pronged approach needed - a strong credit monitoring service, and .....what else?   Looking at high end monitoring and reporting packages (and services to help clean up the problems) on IdentityGuard.com, LifeLock,Trusted ID Essentials, ProtectMyID, etc.   Which is best monitoring service, and what do I need to do to "see what employers see"?   Thanks,   Bert
  5. drilled 16 22 28 (+ 1 YJ) carpenter bees this morning off of the end of fence.  Drop one, crunch it into the grass, and the others are nosy enough to investigate.  All within 12-18" .
  6. http://www.tennessean.com/story/news/2015/04/07/non-profit-releases-gun-report-criticizes-nra/25410387/   Why do I not believe this......???
  7. I hate thwarts, but Compound W helps.

  10. High voltage spike drills ~5000 smart-meters.......   http://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2015/03/30/stockton-smart-meters-explode-after-truck-causes-power-surge/
  11.   I find the easiest way is to chamfer a spent & deprimed case.  I then whack it with a hammer into gasket material (rubberized cork is available at O'Reilleys Auto Parts) over a wooden block.  Push the new wadding out with a bamboo skewer or drill bit.
  12. yak on the keyboard. It will be the last time they let you in there.
  13. Several TGOers are FB friends.  They can see Tom Turd in my FB photos. Every morning I had to shoo it off of his roost before I went to work (or it would ride my truck until it blew off....his record was ~200 yds...I stopped, backed up, and took him "home").  We really should have ate the thing.
  14. And Yes, Ron45... they will do that.  We had a tom take up residence on our back porch a few years ago (for about 6 months).  He beat on the windows (all of them) for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and hourly snack, plus general entertainment and often just the stupidity of seeing its own reflection.  If one ever makes a home in your yard, just shoot it and get it over with. Seriously.  They are nasty things to have close by. Ours was named "Tom Turd". Eventually, we called TWRA to come and get the Ba$tard ( after it got inside the house).

  16. I hate Crayons.  I can never stay inside the lines.
  17. but not before hitching up a team of them and plowing a new field.
  18. Crisco from the can.  Life is too short as it is.  Once in a while I'll treat myself to some in Butter flavor  :yum:
  19. I'm guessing that after a political opponent was killed, that his security posture has tightened while they reassess (regardless of who was responsible).
  20. 125 yds?  heck, a 6" .44Mag will do that.  And kill a deer.
  21. yes, time funs when you're having flies.......   I have had a hell of a rough 5 years, and it all seems like yesterday.
  22. Closer to five years. They did that before I got kicked out of KTOG, which was at least 4 years ago. BTW, there is a very nice KTOG facebook forum full of the oldtimers. The admin is Dan Morrissette Jr.
  23. Very nice! Well done!
  24. It crackered me up!
