Just so you have at least one encouraging reply, I like your outside-of-the-box thinking, and while the concept may need some fluff & buff to cycle the action, it is good to look for ways to increase the interest and community on the forum. I always enjoy developing new hobby and past-time interests with folks that I have met on the board. It is a great way to further develop friendships. Bert

I have not heard anything hinting at a motive, other than a robbery gone real bad. Lots of silence on that and pending charges.

As I understand, the assailant shot Larry, and turned his gun toward owner, who dove into office to regroup, then came back out firing.

In the past, I too have had a few pleasant email exchanges with Larry. I have a friend in Columbia, MO who by chance a few months ago, became friends with Larry and Brenda Potterfield. I have been a customer of theirs for a number of years, but his description of them and their attitude has confirmed my patronage all the more. They are simple, down to earth, and heart-felt towards friends and customers alike. They seem to be good, decent people.

I wonder if he is set up at the gun show in Clinton ? maybe not...

$8 would be a few $ cheaper than the RK shows. Maybe $7 with the coupon, but still higher than the show on Merchants Dr. as I recall.. Thanks !

Did exactly that. 40 miles southwest of Dangriga in the Stann Creek District, Belize. Worked in two villages, one Garafuna tribesmen (descendants of shipwrecked slaves) and the other Maya Indians. Our driveway was 5 miles off the main dirt/mud road, and then on that another two hours to town. Best, and most formative year of my life. B.

As kids, we made and used leather slings. They were surprisingly accurate. I killed a number of starlings off of power lines with one.

The reports are probably in error on this. The assailant (Mr. Greene) was shot (apparently) several times by the shop owner, who carries a handgun. Look for more news regarding Mr. Greene (MHRIH).

Larry died enroute to UT Hospital (then the ambulance diverted to OR) Larry was a fellow who was kind, loving, and absolutely full of Christ. He lived his faith. B.
