R_Bert replied to BigK's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
Actually, the Z-Max Zombie Bullets will be offered in a slightly different shade of green. -
That is a great idea, of course

Do I have to Check My Firearms, Next Chilhowee Gun Show
R_Bert replied to runco's topic in Events and Gatherings
Legally ??, one has not been able to live-carry in that venue anyway. The promoter always has it posted. -
Yall continue. It is a great conversation. A few corners need touching up, but at least the plow is in the garden. I'll jump in later today and tomorrow, as I got a few project deadlines before a long weekend (which is what happened yesterday also). But... this is a good place to discuss. A forum, albeit electronic, just like Mars Hill where Paul explained his seemingly ridiculous faith in terms that they, the debaters, could understand. We do the same here, on many hard topics. B.

Tennessee lifetime hunting and fishing license
R_Bert replied to Losvaqueros's topic in Hunting and Fishing
buy it. She already has a perfect start. You will have multiple opportunities to hunt for blueberries & throw rocks while you squirrel hunt (and grow into other stuff). Just believe in her, and she will follow. -
Had to be careful... With my seeing, I sawed "Does America need more guns?"
-
You need to elaborate. The doctrine of Grace doe not make sense to most non-Christians. And... You have to tie it into the fact that under grace, we *still* do not have free license to sin.,
-
You sir, are closer to the Gospel of Christ than you might think.
-
I personally do not see it that way. Scripture tells me to put my faith in Christ even over my life - all of it. If not, why believe in Him the first place? Now... do I have the ability.... I hope so. I would live in shame the rest of my life otherwise.
-
correct. A comment on my comment above (and not contrary to Matthew 10:33), - denying Him.... and losing faith over time, are not the same. Romans 8:38-39New Living Translation (NLT) 38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[a] neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Dying as a Martyr in Christ (even if you admit to being Christ Follower in front of your killer) is not suicide. No person of strong faith would even be capable of denying Him. Check out the story of Stephen. Very much a similar situation (except rocks, not guns)... Scripture records that Jesus stood up (!) in anticipation of Stephen. Second, once a believer and professing faith, there is nothing that one can do to self to remove self from grace & salvation. Even those who were indeed saved, and later recanted... may be surprised. Just as those who think good behavior / good works will get one into Heaven. God's grace is indeed amazing.

These & the cables they sell are hard to beat. http://camlockbox.com/box-reference

and they don't get this - buying a gun does not cause instant death. Buying an abortion does.

I'll add one - if the boss is in your way, kneecap him & leave him for the paramedics.

Waffle House refuses service to Uniformed, armed soldier
R_Bert replied to Glenn's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Pretty sure the local Waffle Houses in Clinton / OR have the same policy. Have heard several cops indicate they refuse to eat there. -
I was with Allstate for my vehicle 1979 - 2013, and my house 1995 - 2013. In 2013 *they* decided that I was 0.5 miles too far from the fire station (5.5 miles by road). The dumped my house coverage (even with a hydrant in my yard), with about a 30 day notice, though I had a great customer rating. They did the same thing to numerous nearby families. Obviously, I dumped them on vehicles. They are worthless in my eyes. B.

Meh. My toilet has a light when I open the door.

I always give the credit card device a good "yank" or pretty strong wiggle/shake/push. If they move *at all*, the deal is off. May tear up a few legit machines, but......

Cops fire 84 shots at robbery suspect, hit him once: police
R_Bert replied to gregintenn's topic in General Chat
Speaking of trigger, don't they use Glocks with the 12 lb. "safety" trigger? -
Cool. With the roadkill law, it can be a twofer! Sriracha...it makes buzzard better. "I'll have the 'turf'n'dump' platter, ma'am!"

Here is turkey harvest data. You can search on years, county, WMA, etc. It will give you a place to start. http://twrawildlife.com/Harvest_Report_Turkey.aspx

Welcome to TN. Good luck finding a hot dove field.... those are guarded like gold. I have not been on a good field since 1980. TWRA manages or leases a some that are fair. http://www.state.tn.us/twra/dovemain.html Chuck Swan WMA is usually OK, but with TWRA budget, one never knows. You can certainly scout off of the lists above. Bert
