  1. target rich environment, 24/7. simple economics, efficiency. Do your grocery shopping, rip someone off on the way out. Around here, the Knoxville Malls, and box stores arround Turkey Creek are big contenders as well.
  2. probably have to be a "herder" instead of the "herded"
  3. If only they could so easily inquire of the "little" people ....
  4. I got this from Sen. Randy McNally -
  5. I forwarded this one to my local legislators for their reading pleasure.
  6. Here is how to assess your legislators viewpoints on issues (including firearms) by their voting record. Very handy to look at likely votes of committee members as well up to 2010 - http://tennesseevotes.org/ This site also shows info on their donors - http://ballotpedia.o...p/Randy_McNally
  7. He had been dealing with a significant (and well documented) heart condition for more than a year.
  8. I heard an interview this evening with one of his board members. The BHO material and plans for timely release are still in place. His company will continue the mission.
  9. I have a Rossi 92 that does that on some loads , and have picked up some range brass with the "pot-belly". The Handloader artical (page 26 Feb 2012) also mentioned a dual ring carbide sizer die by Redding that helps. I seem to recall seeing other brands touting them recently also.
  10. All, I went up to the Royal Blue WMA today. I used the 150 yd range, and carried out a bag of trash on it, left it in good shape, I wondered over to the 100 yard range, and carried out another two bags (It is "OK", but more needs to be done). The 50 yard range however, is a mess. I didn't have enough time or energy to do anymore today. Folks, The budget for the WMAs does not allow for daily or probably even weekly trash removal. It is not enough to just dump the trash on top of the cans. Pack you own paper, boxes, bottles out, and maybe even be a good neighbor and take a bit more with you. In the last nine months, I have carried out about three Toyota Pickup loads of trash just from Royal Blue. C'mon folks.... Remind your friends and co-workers too.
  11. BTW, I received earnest feedback from John Ragan, asking what part of the bill was I opposed to; in that on the surface, it seems "friendly". He want to know what the differences were. (I cited exemption #3 as related to employee parking lots, and gave examples that it would deny employees of private companies such as FEDEX Memphis, Nissan Smyrna, the lockable storage unit, and many downtown resturants. So tell your legislator *why* you oppose this one and favor SB3002 / HB3560.
  12. I sent this to the sub-committee, with copies to Rep. John Ragan, Senator McNally, Bill Haslam, Ron Ramsey, Beth Harwell, and some friends -
  13. Looks like he had fun, nice yote. Not seen that color phase, pretty dark. What decoy were you using ? Was it and the yote out in the field, or on the edge ?
  14. Here is how to assess your legislators viewpoints on issues (including firearms) by their voting record. Very handy to look at likely votes of committee members as well up to 2010 http://tennesseevotes.org/ Remind them (with specific examples of agreement and disagreement) that you know how they voted in the past. For example is my State Senator Randy McNally - http://tennesseevote...earch&CVN=10000 on firearms. This site also shows their donors - (example in this case is my senator, Randy McNally who is generally pro 2A, but I am concerned about FEDEX on his list) http://ballotpedia.o...p/Randy_McNally
  15. In TN, hunting season for beaver is year-round, no limit (unlike our time available to spend on the problem). Is it in an area where you. can shoot them safely ? They have to come out sometimes...
  16. I am speaking in terms of philosophy, not a discrete industry. I had not even thought of the bailouts, but was thinking in terms of government intrusion in general. South Africa has it in spades. Although Apartied *had* to be rooted out, it has been been replaced with a marxist leaning government who are implementing the values desperately sought by BHO The WH, State Department, and Supreme Court have all given their accolades to the societal and economic "progress" by the RSA government, and that it is a model for all. Problem is that the South Africans cannot pay for it. They are heading the way of Greece before long if they do not turn arround. Having been in South Africa 21 times since 1990, it is amazing how fast and how deeply industry there is crumbling.
  17. and even Marxist. If you want to see where they aspire to, look at South Africa and the direction that country is heading (they actually considered nationalizing truck farms ala Mugabe, and they are absolutely driven by the "greens").
  18. He already owns the Supreme Court, and more so when a Justice dies. It may take him a while to get someone confirmed, but they will *still* be his choice.
  19. I don't know.... With executive order and Supreme Court, BHO can do loads of damage (and already has with that strategy). Even if his policies only last 4 years of office, it would/will take decades to unravel, if ever, given the judicial system. Republicans giving up on White House in order to "capture both house and senate" would be a horrible strategy in the long run. The Republicans don't have to justify themselves. They just need to run against BHO like they beleive in themselves (which some days I doubt..).
  20. In Islamabad.... http://www.google.com/hostednews/ap/article/ALeqM5i9IP9RmIUZiyL6Co_nrkpvNS1sdA?docId=c995a6b6666342a4991de3ed3bfa1f33 A few unique problems to contend with
  21. Just don't try to buy beer at 7pm....oh, nevermind...
