  1. Good to have you here, welcome.
  2. Remember, in a truly free economy, it is only exhorbitatnt if no one is willing to pay for it.... as long as someone is willing to pay for whatever is being sold, it is a fair price...
  3. Ha ha ha... my thoughts exactly!
  4. Is this available in Amazon?
  5. Gotta check it out!
  6. Take the decapping pin out and run the cartridge through the sizing die slowly... that should solve it. Your crimp die is the problem... its not taking the bell completely out
  7. I liked that one too...
  8. 12/21/12 is bogus...
  9. On last Sunday's episode of the walking dead the family had a discussion on what was the zombie kill of the week. I voted for Shane bashing the walker with a shovel Wifey voted for Carl shooting Shane Son thinks its Blondie with the pitchfork What say you TGOs? Can't wait for this week's ZKOTW!!!
  10. CDNN is the best... bought three rifles and two pistols... all top notch; even the one used pistol!!! Thinking about getting the Winchester SX3 which is $150 lower than any other store I have seen...
  11. I vote the DE, I have one and it's a total hooligan... although, I would not mind a 500, possibly a Performance Center (think Punisher Warzone) or the Magnum Research BFR.
  12. Very good choice...
  13. Wow... that sounds good; but I really can't get past the price. I think it's waaaaaay too expensive for what it is. Maybe one of the big boys Ruger, S&W, or Taurus will come out with a clone... at a much cheaper price point.
  14. I work downtown and the place is so convenient... good selection of VIHTAVOURI powders and Hornady brass...
  15. JM2C... but I would go with the Thompson Center as well... CDNN has some ICON's for around $500....
  16. Not really... just overstating it. I feel because of the characteristics of the case capacity... unless of course they were using some proprietary hyperfast propellant but even then, I can't see it... I bet no handloader can mimic their published results... ...Which also begs the question, if they solved the .30 cal AR-15 platform problem with the .300 blackout, why did they (Remington) develop the .30 RAR... seems odd don't you think?
  17. Thanks! Looks like a very viable pistol round but I'm not so sure it can be an effective long or medium range rifle round... Grendel, 6.8 SPC, and .30RAR trumps this round, which really makes sense because the cartridge can't hold enough powder to sufficiently push a .308 bullet with any authority... BTW, I think the ballistic information is a bit optimistic, IMO.
  18. Can anyone post the ballistic information for this round? Seems very interesting, I want to see the chart and compare it to a .30 Remington AR.
  19. What a way to drive business down... this Dean guy sucks....
  20. Checked it out... mixed bag... some are cheaper than Walmart but most are more expensive... sigh
  21. Nothing wrong with starting from the basics and gaining proficiency... the complexity of a progressive IS a factor especially since the TS has never reloaded a single round of ammo before. Reloading is safe but it is methodical and the method to the madness can be best understood by going through ALL the steps and using a single stage press... IMO
  22. Another decision by a commission... the 5.56 never was an effective round. Anything less than a .30 cal is no good... they should just stick to the .308...
  23. Money is good in the right hands and bad in the wrong one... problem is, when I have it, it goes like water to pay the bills. Paying the bills means I get to eat and allows me to live... living, in turn, allows me to work so I can make some more money to pay the bills... such a vicious cycle. That's why I reload so I can save some and shoot more...
