  1. I had one blind tied down in the woods for almost 1 1/2 years and this year someone trespassing stole it. I got it at a yard sale for 15 bucks so really can't complain just mad that someone would steal it.
  2. I have a few deer skulls, mostly keep fox, bobcat and got a few coyote skulls. Ask wd-40 he would know a more simpler way to clean one than my method. I let it sit outside for awhile so the flesh and meat rot then soak it in bleach. I'm sure wd-40 or someone else has an easier way.
  3. Can't wait till my daughter is old enough to Juvinile hunt.
  4. I think it may fall under this one.
  5. Some good info http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/hunting/24767-ground-blind-2.html http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/hunting/11031-quality-ground-blind.html Ground blinds can be very usefull. They allow you to be concealed when there is no other options. Only negative things I can say are scent control and visibility. Your not going to see as well as say if your in a tree stand and your scent is at ground level. Also the scent of your blind can turn them away. So make sure you take every step in scent control. Also don't just place it in the open and if you have to make sure you also use natural cover to help conceal you. I would also do the same in thick areas. I use ground blinds and love them. To me I think the pros out way the cons. As far as setting them up most are pop ups and are real easy to set up and take down and they also pack light.
  6. I think if you killed a snake as in just killing them not protecting anything it would probably fall under cruelty to animals or something along that lines.
  7. I played on a home made field. We used pallets stuffed with lots of cardboard boxes worked great. It was on about 2 acres I think.
  8. What a loser no hero just another dumbass.
  9. And um...then um...the community um........ This woman is clearly on drugs.
  10. Thanks for the reminder. My smoke detector went off the other day about 4 in the morning. Got everyone up and was going to exit the house via front door and it turned out to be dust on the heating coils of the central heat and air unit (I live in a townhouse). I had to open the windows due to the small amount of smoke. Thank goodness it was not a real fire. Also it was the first time my heat was turned on.
  11. Not sure about any contests. Congrats to your cousins little girl.
  12. I never miss an episode. Glad to know i'm not the only one either
  13. Been a couple of years for me. I used to play a lot and spent way to much money on it. Wouldn't mind playing again but I wouldn't spend that much on it again.

  17. Now thats more like it!
  18. He should buy a lotto ticket with that kind of luck.
  19. I have to agree with rightwinger but it should start soon. Needs to hurry up though!
  20. The rut should be kicking in. A lot of people have different opinions on when the rut begins. I generally as a rule for me hunt food sources, the reason is bucks and doe's will eat regardless of the rut. Bucks might not eat as much but they will follow the doe's who are trying to get fat. Go to a local check in station preferably one that the owner also hunts like a local sporting goods store and ask around.
  21. Lets see how well this thread goes first. If it does well maybe you are onto something.
