Glad you and your dog are o.k. Coyotes are becoming a very big problem in the cities as well as out in rural areas. I have seen coyotes in the middle of Murfreesboro and someone stated they have been found in the middle of New York city. I doubt they were rabid so don't worry to much about that. A local game warden told me that there are lots of coyotes in west TN but they are becoming a big problem across the state due to less people hunting and trapping them.

It has been awhile since I have been. I used to go on the TN river. I used to fish Coy Gaither lake (I think thats what it is called) all the time and I would see tons of carp when fishing the grass beds on the side where the dock is. Try looking into that lake, not that far from you.

It doesn't effect you when looking down the scope. At least it never did on my AR's

My brothers have put this rifle through hell over the years and it still has not let me down. It's been mine for almost 13 years and my brothers don't even get to touch it anymore.

I have a Browning BAR 30-06 made in Belgium. My step dad bought it new in 1983 and he gave me the rifle. I still hunt with it today and I have never never never had any problems out of it. It's one of the best shooting rifles I have ever owned. I shot my first deer with it. This rifle means a lot to me (Lots of memories)as my step dad can no longer hunt and he passed it down to me. Here is a picture of her.
