    Geocaching

I just started Geocaching. Still learning but me and my daughter love it and it's a great way to spend time with her. Anyone else doing it?
  2. Very sad to hear this. Don was a great guy and great outdoorsman. Rest in peace Don.
  3. I'm still ready for you to take me.
  4. I've been battling real bad arthritis in my left wrist from a fracture years ago. Had injections years ago but it's wearing off. I'm in the stand now but it hurts like hell to pull a bow back. Guess I'm just gonna have to break down and get a crossbow. I'm scheduled for more injections but the doc wants to do surgery. If so it will be after deer season lol.
  5. I'm from Perry County. Lots of big deer. I still have family land I hunt down there. I've killed many big deer on our farm.
  6. We had an Ambulance assist the other day, cause a guy shot his own foot with his bow.
  7. Yeah a rest to shoot off is a necessity. I ended up put an Aimpoint comp M2 on since my Simmons pro hunter only lasted 18 rounds. Gonna practice a lot. 100 yards or so will be my max range.

  9. This thing is loud and kicks like a mule lol. I have a better scope on the way.

  11. Picked me up a Thompson Center Encore 460 s&w. Can't wait to kill a deer or hog with it. Any tips, advise, best loads to use?
  12. I have used a bunch of chokes over the years and for my Mossberg 835 the Indian Creek Choke has put the best pattern down range. I'm shooting Winchester Longbeard xr #6 and get awesome patterns out to 60 yards.
  13. One of spots is here in the county. The other one is in Woodbury. Checked the trail cameras and I've got 2 big bucks out in Woodbury. It's a video. I sent it on facebook for you to see.
  14. I have killed a nice buck on this property the last few years. There are some really nice bucks in that area. I will see one of them again I'm sure.
  15. I haven't personally seen him again. Thought my trail camera would have caught him but when I went and checked the cam the camera didn't work. The dang batteries had died. I replaced them so gonna check it again this weekend.
  16. Got my trailcamera set up on a new property. Hopefully I will get something on it.
  17. I say we meet in front of the store by the boat at 9am. Pm me for the secret handshake lol.
  18. Already talked to ya. See ya Sunday at 9am.
  19. It's a fletching jig. It puts new vanes on the arrow shaft. You can just use a razor or box cutter to remove the old fletching. Just make sure you remove all the glue and clean the arrow shaft with alcohol.
  20. Picked me up a Barnett Wildcat C5 a few weeks ago. Shoots great but I decided to re-fletch some of the bolts it came with. Stripped the old 4 inch vanes and replaced them with 2 inch blazer vanes. Shoots even better now.
