  4. I thought about it but i'm still not for sure.
  5. I usually clean my guns or play with my daughter that always works.

  7. Thats the plan anyway.
  8. Picked me up a Howa M1500 Ranchland 20 inch barrel chambered in 243 has a hogue stock, the barrel is free floated and bedded. The gun shoots great and is very accurate.

Back when I worked there I never had to do an agility test. I'm sure you will do fine though. I worked there from 01 to 03.
  10. Yeah that sucks man. Hope you find another lease.
  11. I don't think it was worth watching in the movie theater, maybe on DVD. It had a few good action scenes but overall I really didn't care for it.
  12. Going to try and do some predator hunting in Michigan this year, just got to make the details work out first.
  13. Yeah the guy who owns the property is a great guy. He wants me to take him coyote hunting out there. He is also going to let me turkey and deer hunt on the property. Like I said they were awesome and great company.
  14. Post the pics when you get them, would love to see how well it does.
  15. I'm sure it won't happen all the time but I have killed many fox's over the years and more pelts where damaged by the bigger grain bullets such as a 223 or 243. I'm sure it wasn't a fluke you just made a great shot. I shot one this year with my 223 in the neck (the only shot it would give me) and it put a really big hole in it. The taxidermist said he had a lot of fun mounting it ha ha. By the way I need to go pick it up he called me 2 days ago to come get it. He has had it since February. Shot placement is the key but I think shooting one with a smaller grain bullet would do less damage. This is from my experiences.
  16. Just got back from hunting dove for the first time in a long time. I shot about 60 or 70 rounds and got 8 birds. I am so rusty but hey I had a great time with a bunch of guys and gals who I met for the first time today. They treated me like they had knew me for forever. I was invited by a friend of the group and they are great people so that made it worth the trip even if I hadn't killed a single bird.
  17. 12 gauge and I think it has a 28 inch barrel. As for the choke I like the Carlson dead coyote it's cheaper than the pattern master and does pretty much all I need it to do. I had to order the hevi shot. I have since switched shells I am going to to shoot remington 3 inch # 4 it patterns grat out to 35 and 40 yards. I like my pattern to be as tight as I can when hunting up close due them running up on my call, don't want to shoot my call. Yeah the farmer said he has let several people hunt coyotes over the years and they never shot one, so yeah he was happy and gave me sole hunting rights to his property, well minus the family but thats only 1 other person.
  18. I just got me a 243 and Hornady makes a 58 grain V-Max 3750fps. I think a 243 is to big for fox. I shoot fox's with a 223 and it messes them up. I still think a 22lr is plenty, fox are not that big.
  19. Maybe it's also for the rednecks that like to use dynomite.
  20. Nothing like calling a coyote in close enough to make eye contact.
  21. Voting on the Right to Hunt and Fish in Tennessee This November? September 1, 2010 A constitutional amendment to guarantee the right to hunt and fish in Tennessee will go before voters in November’s general election. The recognition of this right does not abrogate any private or public property rights, nor does it limit the state’s power to regulate commercial activity. Traditional manners and means may be used to take non-threatened species." Voters will also be electing a new governor, a new representative for the U.S. House of Representatives from the sixth district. State representative and senators will also be elected. 22. I put the call about 5 yards out in front of me. He came in straight at me never seen me until I raised the shotgun. I like calling them in as close as possible makes for a better hunt.
