    big yote?

Yeah that's a very large dog. Can't be pure bred coyote.
  2. Sportsman guide had a real nice one for under 300. Came ready to hunt well you just had to sight it in.
  3. If the bear kept climbing when all else fails then I guess a good kick in the face with my boots would be in order.
  4. Exactly I have hunted with both blued and stainless and never had a problem.
  5. I went this morning didn't see anything except a bunch of red squirrels. I did however find a couple of rubs and a few scraps that fairly new. I haven't hunted deer on this part of the property yet so looking forward to getting back out.
  6. Anyone going to hunt turkeys during the window of opportunity. I am going to do a combo hunt. Since I have to use my shotgun right now on coyotes, I might as well kill me some turkeys if I get the chance while out in the woods. Were allowed 6 either sex here in Rutherford County. Here is the info Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency - Turkey.
  7. I had planned on going this past week but the wife had to have surgery to remove her gallbladder so I stayed home to take care of her, then I got sick. I don't have a bow so I'm going to take this time and do some more scouting and coyote hunting.
  8. Congrats on the nice bucks guys.
  9. He's lucky he didn't run into a bullet.
  10. All smart butty aside I actually thought of doing that ha ha.
  11. I'm still seeing deer just nothing I want to shoot right now. Just small bucks, I'm still wondering were all the good bucks went that I seen while out coyote hunting. Maybe I need to just try a new tactic or something.
  12. I've never thought of a tree rat foot ha ha.
  13. The deer could have walked into the bullet........just saying
  14. Congrats to both of them, I'm sure they will never forget that.
  15. Looks like he could rob a squirrel LOL.
  16. Happy thanksgiving and god bless.
  17. I would add some orange to it, an orange cap is a good idea. I have had to many bad experiences on public land so if I'm hunting it I wear as much orange as I can.
  18. I hunt them year round even through breeding season. I don't think it has a big enough effect on them. I have killed plenty of coyotes during breeding season and in the same areas I still see plenty of coyotes throughout the year and through the years after that. Some people choose not to hunt them and that's perfectly fine, there is no right or wrong in doing so. I think if there were more coyote hunters out there then I may only hunt them a few times during breeding season, but since there are not many true coyote hunters out there then it's game on. I also just don't hunt coyotes I consider myself a predator hunter which includes foxes, bobcats, coyotes and crows.
  19. Not sure of the area but if I was hunting any type of public land in a blind I would somehow attach some orange to my blind just to be on the safe side.
