  1. I have never hunted in Nashville, but you could get a map and start scouting an area about 1 to 2 weeks before season. A good tip is to try and find where they were scratching the gound, it will look like a v. Find an area with a good food scource or creek. Also stay until dark and try and listen to them fly up and roost (you will know it can be loud)
  2. I will try and be there. I have a membership there. Hey Mike I can bring a guest when I go. If I go I will let you know and you can come as my guest.
  3. HA HA makes me even look good.
  4. Just wanted to say bye to everyone because after seeing that picture I am losing my eye sight and will no longer be able to type.
  5. ShaunM

    GREAT dog!

Small car so that dog could easily jump it. You can see it also kicked off the window.
  6. Try asking around and see if anyone has any slate rock on their property. Next time I visit my mom I will try and get a few pieces (if I can remember) and I will send you some.
  7. Cowboy up . hope you guys get to feeling better.
  8. Same here, I have attempted but ha ha thats a whole different story.
  9. HA HA HA what a dumb ass. What the crap where they doing anyway.
  10. I have thought about it. Didn't know so many people might be interested in doing this. It is now a sticky. This thread has a lot of great info in it. WD-40 again great info and I will be coming back to this thread when I start on my bobcat hide.
  11. He should have let you go just for saying that.
  12. The most important thing is to practice, practice, practice on all of your calls. Make sure you have good camo with a face net, turkey's have extremely good eye sight. Also pattern your shotgun with different manufactures and shot loads, you would be surprised how different your shotgun will shoot different shells.....example I had a mossy 500 that patterned better with a 3 inch instead of a 3 1/2 inch #5 shot.
  13. Yeah if you ever see coyote crap it is full of berries. A couple of the coyotes I killed last year had their fur around their mouth stained like a redish purple from eating berries.
  14. Well I don't believe you. We need pictures for proof
  15. You must post pics when you are done.
  16. Well I don't think Coyotes lick on salt blocks, well they might but doubt it.
  17. Yes you are correct except it is TWRA's policy to permit the use of salt in both loose and block form, provided the majority (i.e., at least 51% by weight) of the formulation consists of salt or other minerals, then the formulation is not considered bait.
