God Bless him and may he Rest In Peace. Most folks don't waist a minute on the old guys, think nothing of them. Stop and talk to them because at one time they were probably 100 pound men that had more grit than all these damn liberal kids we are raising today combined. Hell living to be 100 takes a pretty tough man.

Reguardless of all these conditions, the gun shop owner released the gun with less than an APPROVED background check. I owned a gun shop and there was no way I was gonna take responsibility for a conditional approval. Gun shop owner released the gun and I feel (call Dr. Phil) bears an equal responsibility for the situation. He could eat that restocking fee. Outstanding child support or an accusation of assault will trigger the same legal action. If your father has no reason for this denial, tell him to do the APPEALS paperwork to challenge the denial. Most are overturned. At least he will have a reason for the denial. Sometimes it's something really stupid that caused the denial.

It would make an excellent starters pistol or train bird dogs with it. I love the back story. Those are the best. That bluing may be paint. Very nice.

I know I'm the new guy here but I figure my opinion is worth as much as any here. I've been through many of these political motivated anarchies. It does nothing but pit us against each other and we are foolish enough to play right into their hands. Yes we create a false shortage which makes the Ammo and all reloading components skyrocket in price. Just like a run on fuel shortages did in the past. WE are all responsible for this. Believing that any one person can control the second amendment, that's not the way the system works. If WE continue to create this false shortage WE all pay the price. This too will pass and the Ammo issue is self correcting. WE as good stewards must share what WE can spare and at the cost of what you have in it. I'm not saying you should give it away. Just remember who WE were during this issue and by all means remember who THEY were while gouging for extra cash. I can only only hope that if this were a food shortage WE would all act differently.

The best year to be born and the best year for car styling. Sweet Marlin.

Deuce Bigalow! You wouldn't want to work from your home.

Now, once again, the gun did it. I must have the laziest dang guns in existence. They sit in controlled environment 24/7 doing nothing. There is always plenty for them to eat and others to play with. They make me take them out to play on a regular basis and constantly talk me into buying others. Im beginning to think it's a people problem, not a gun problem. Hang on boys there is no telling what is gonna shake out of this one.

You might also want to figure in the cost of heart problems and depression on top of the cost list. My last stress induced heart attack cost me almost $125,000. I worked 32 years in a high paying, high stress job. I too could have made it just fine on less money with the same company.

I haven't been a member long but I'm enjoying it more every day. I would love to see a section listing members in west tn, mid tn, eastern and such. This might make some of us old farts get off our retired butts and have a cup of coffee or some range time with our local brothers. If this is already available please lead me to it. Thank, Don

Road Trip. Perfect excuse for you and your your dad to get away for a bit. Or you could invite some desering TGO members to journey with you. When I was younger, some buddies and I bet on the color of a house by our duck club. We loaded up and drove 140 miles round trip to confirm that I was wrong.

My granddaughter works for sportsmans warehouse and they still stock this Rifle. It may be new/old stock though.

These knives have an interesting history
derf replied to Swamp ash's topic in Knives, Lights, EDC Gear
About 1,000 rounds of 5.56 and the knife would last way longer. Too bad they are sold out. Just saying -
I've been pulling the handle on a 550 for over 10 years without a hitch. Don't call Dillon for advise, they will keep you on the phone forever. Great customer service. I also have a 650, just don't have it set up yet. Congratulations on the 750!!

My friend runs one in the 1/8 minute brackets. He runs the wheels of it. I know he had to put a ladder frame under it before putting that much power to it to keep from breaking the windows out. He loves it.

Got one. Thanks!

Been lurking for awhile and figured it's time to pay up. I closed a gun shop 5 years ago in collierville and have many small items to get rid of I'll be posting a few each week. I've done business with several members and I've really had nothing but good to say about any of you guys. When I read through the posting of a Glock 20 for sale, I knew I had to be part of this organization.

Thanks for all the kind words. I can't wait to get to know all of you. I just completed the ATF interview about an hour ago. The inspector was very nice and really seemed to understand just how bad I want this to happen. You guys may know the time-lines on these things better than I. I look for a date of full operation around February 21st or sooner. What do you think?
