Welcome from Columbia. It's a good group of people here. There a a handfull of other women on here too.

I share about 18 Pmags between 2 AR's and most of my Glocks are 9mm. I have 3 33 round mags and about 15 full size (glock 17) mags all in gen 4 so they run in all my pistols. My EDC is a G19 with the 15 rounder and 1 or 2 G17 mags. Always buying more though. And all of them are factory mags. I don't like the aftermarket stuff. And call me crazy but I am contemplating making a chest rig for winter carry under my coat for 2 33 round mags. One vertical under each arm so they counter balance one another. The times we are in now, why not? Of course that would only be for "special occasions".

When an armed citizen takes care of the threat it usualy isn't allowed to reach a "mass shooting" status (4 or more). They are mostly right but for the wrong reasons. If I were to shoot a threat and kill them who is to say that the shooter would not have gone on to kill 15 people if I'd not intervened?

I am the opposite. If I were involved in an active shooter/mass shooting situation I would try my damndest to get to my vehicle and get my rifle. If I were away from danger and people were still being killed and I could engage the threat from 30+ yards now with my rifle, you better believe I will. My pistol is just a tool to fight with UNTIL I can get to my rifle. So you're saying if you were safely out of the line of fire and could take a shot at the bastard from a safe distance (maybe even with cover) you wouldn't? I couldn't live with myself. That's just me.

I'm listening live to PD and SO radio traffic with an app. They have 1 person at gunpoint on a golf course with multiple weapons in the vehicle. *edit: I didn't realize there were links to a feed above. I believe what I'm hearing is their "channel 2".

I'm not a Star Wars guy but everything in my Facebook news feed is Star Wars related. It's supposed to be the biggest movie of the year and I've heard that many theaters are going to allow costumes. Some larger chains have already banned them. It just seems like a bad combination to me. I hope nothing happens but recent events at movies in the last few years has me wondering.

One of my brush piles in the woods is crawling with chipmunks so I may go out tomorrow and stir them up.

They work good on snakes "so I've heard". At about 8-10 feet they have about a 8" spread from a 4" barrel. They aren't the most practical things but I got a good price on them and they should last forever. On them rainy days it may be fun to sit up in the hay loft and take care of some mice and rats below. I've got an older Taurus Tracker with a 9 round cylinder so I plan to put a couple rounds in while I'm out and about in the woods.

Just saw on Facebook and came here to see if there was a thread yet. I think the ol' .308 will be with me more often as I Jeep through the woods around here...

I've found 40 grain all over the place but the 36 hollow points are what I like for hunting. I was surprised to find them. And I picked up enough shot shells to last a lifetime.

Finally found some 36 grn Mini Mag and while I was at it bought 8 packs of shot shells. I'm a happy fella.

It was probably just some drunk kid thinking he was at the right house to pick up his booty call. I would be alarmed too but I have a 5 million candle power spotlight that would work good to shine at the driver from the bedroom window. Maybe they would get the hint. I wouldn't go out armed to confront them.

I converted all my pistols to 9mm a few years ago. Just my preference. My EDC is a Gen 3 19. I have 2 19's a 17 and a 34. I carry Federal HST 124 standard pressure. In my opinion there is no better performing round for a 19/17.

I have always hated mine. I hope to in the next 5 years to get an "all on 4" implants on top and bottom.

I would appear in court and just plead guilty. If your record is clean he may just dismiss it and you will just have a court cost.

I just watched Lawless just from seeing this post. Can't believe I've never seen it. Damn good movie! It's in my top 10 now.

I just went back and watched the Glenn scene and noticed that the walkers weren't "biting" the body or pulling the guts with their teeth. They were pulling the entrails out with their hands and bringing them up to their mouths. I don't know if that has anything to do with anything though.
