  1. The only "reality" show I watch is Hardcore Pawn. It's faker'n hell but my DVR started recording it a year or two ago and I just kept watching it. I was actually in the background walking around in the store on last weeks episode. (When the black woman in red polka dot dress was going off). I drive a truck and was in Warren MI about 2 months ago and decided to go the few miles down to the store just because I was so close. They turned out to be filming that day. I walked around hoping to get a shot of me on camera just laugh about with my buddies when it came on. They stood around talking for a bit laughing and whatnot then the camera came on and there she was yelling. One of the dumbest shows ever but I was on TV lol
  2. Looks pretty neat. He just kept opening drawer after drawer. I bet it would be a mother to assemble though. A long weekend and a bottle of bourbon would be called for.
  3. I'd have the shotgun in a heartbeat and then the carbine.
  4. Well. I drive a semi for a living and despite using 2 times the amount of anti gel chemicals in the fuel, my fuel filters have frozen up. My boss said to just get it towed and get the filters changed tomorrow. So at least I get to ride in a big fancy Kenworth rotator tonight lol. I am in Ohio just a little north of Columbus on I-71 and it's a cool -13. I am lucky and do have an APU generator on the truck and am sitting toasty waiting on the wrecker. I usually stay local but just had to take this trip to make a few extra bucks. And the funny thing is... my trailer is full of hot tubs. Yep 11 spas. Irony.
  5. On about my 3rd round of Evan Williams. Not feeling too bad...
  6. Gonna bake some fish and make fish sandwiches and get into my Evan Williams Honey Reserve.
  7. If Glocks are going for 10k I am going to retire at the age of 27.
  8. Oh damn! That is making my stomach growl now!
  9. I dug my first barber last year. It is a good feeling.
  10. I'm gonna go out tomorrow and take care of a few squirrels. I've always just cleaned and gutted and cooked in foil on the fire but am looking for some good easy recipes. Might just start a new years tradition...
  11. I belong to a metal detecting forum also and after reading a post tonight on here about metal detecting, it has me wondering if anyone on here is into it also. I just bought a Garrett AT Pro and have a couple Garrett Pro Pointers and some other equipment. Anyone else into detecting..?
  12. Thr odds are low. Great find though. I am an avid metal detectorist but haven't been in a while. I plan to get into more underwater detecting when it warms back up. I just got a waterproof unit and am itching to push the limits. Almost pit it in yhr tub the other night ; )
  13. I have noticed for several years now that Shady Brook Cinemas in Columbia has had a "No firearms allowed" sticker on the glass at the entrance. They have recently removed their "posting". There has never been a gun-buster but rather just text on the glass along with cell phones and other things not allowed. I always just glance as it as I go in but the other night we went to see Anchorman 2 and I noticed it was gone. Maybe someone informed them it wasn't a legal posting or they just realized it would benefit them to allow carry.. Just thought I would report.
  14. I cook on the fire 3-4 times every month..
  15. My family has always been Ford people. We even had a dealership in the family (Kenneth Wessner Ford) so I have all sorts of Ford merchandise in my man cave.
  16. I've always liked the show butit kinda ticked me off a little to throw in a game changer and kill off a character just to turn aroumd and bring him back. You can do pretty much anything with animation though.
  17. I like it. I watched the pilot thinking it wouldn't last but it has. I've always been a fan of Tim Allen.
  18. I was in awe watching this. Amazing. The human body is such an amazing machine.
  19. It's not a common practice. This is at my work. But I do unchamber. Sounds goofy but I know it will have to come out when I get in there. Most of the time I have it unchambered at work when I do carry because I am in and out unerneath trucks and dont want a live gun falling out on the concrete while I'm rolling around on the creaper.
  20. I hate taking it out. Honestly I try not to even go in a public place. I like my toilet at home better. But if I have to stop to go in a convenience store I unchamber in the vehicle because I know most likely I will have to unholster inside to get the job done. And I would rather have it with me with nothing in the pipe than leave it hot in the vehicle. This is the only "public" bathroom I usually frequent at my work. Only 6 people there and 3 of us carry.
  21. I have several of all different brands. I like the surefires and all the high end lights but my bedside light is the Coast HP7 and my carry light is a 5.11 ATAC A1. Coast makes some excellent lights. If I has to be stuck in the jungle the HP7 would be my first choice.
  22. If I know I am going in a public bathroom to do some "paperwork" I unchamber it before I go in. I take it off when the pants come down because of the weight and the next guy over might see it and try to reach under and grab it. This is what I usually do...
  23. All the above ^
