I got to wondering a few days after watching. Is there any better way to protect a big ship like that from being boarded by pirates? I think maned water monitors with extreme pressure would be better than dozens of stationary nozzles just spraying around. I don't know anything about international maritime law but no weapons or security onboard? I know there is not much to do about a strike in the wheelhouse by an RPG but they just pulled up and hooked a ladder up to the railing. It seems to me that 1 or 2 men with rifles could have taken care of them. Maybe even placed a shot through the outboard engine. What do you think?

I have watched several of his videos and kinda don't care either way. He is thorough and long winded. Myself, think it's hard to beat ol' Hickock45. I have gotten on youtube with my earphones in my phone and listen to his 'radio' shows fot hours. Here I go derailing....

I drive a truck and have an APU (generator) behind the sleeper that mounts on the frame. It is a 2 cyl Kabota. It gives me 110 AC in the truck and it also has it's own alternator to keep the truck charged. They are pretty expensive but if I had money I would love to have one at home setup for emergencies. It consumes about 1 gallon every 3.5 hours vs. the 500 hp Cummins idling at around 1.1 gallons per hour.

A question for some of the radio guys... I have a kenwood TK 3107 16 channel. Can if be programed with FRS frequencies? It is just one I have had for a couple years and would like to utilize it with my set of FRS walkies. And if so, can anyone program it? I don't have the cable or softeare but it is a brand new radio.

A little off topic but I have always wondered about how we could identify ourselves to other TGO members in a SHTF situation. There's lots of us. I mean I guess you could just ask anyone you came across but a secret way to identify ourselves would help. Maybe the emblem on a bag or something...

They're not even mine but I would like to search for them. Wish it were warmer. I had some guns stolen back 7 or 8 years ago. I know how you feel. It ended up being someone I knew too. The worst part is 2 of the guns they took were irreplaceable. An 870 12 guage my dad had gotten me for Christmas ans an old Sears bolt action .22 rifle that was my grandfathers gun bought in the 60's. I miss it the most.

I am guessing if someone got scared and ditched them it would probanly be quick like driving over a bridge. They may be in an obvious place. Duck River isn't very deep at all in my area. It starts getting deeper towards the damn in Columbia but here in my neck of the woods, <8 '. I am a river rat in the summer and when it warms up I waill definitely do a little extra diving and searching on my long boat and kayak trips. They would be ruined but it would be a little closure. I hate to think of what all is in the water down our river. I for years has wanted to invest in a quality underwater camera and may do it this year.
I must be the only one sitting here still contemplating how there is only four bullet holes. Lmao. Two walls, two entry holes two exit holes. Then the bullet came to rest in an outer brick wall. I'm seeing five holes. Lol
Maybe one room was still under cunstruction or it passed through a previous hole that one ofhis buddies had made when he was drunk  Stay tuned..

"You know, fish can here you thinking just before you sneeze" That's my favorite from WD

I live in the Culleoka area too. Close to the river. If you find out where the d###head tossed them I will help you search.

I agree but I think it would be beneficial in a zombie situation. Maybe even camp on a barge in the river. I would armor up of course for the human intruders.

Welcome from Columbia!

I think about stuff like this often. Why doesn't anyone ever take to the water? And I am refering to a Walking Dead scenario with "walkers" more than anything. I don't think the dead can tread water very well. I would consider a good size boat. Wouldn't have to be just 100 feet or more from shore.

When I was a deputy the most aggravating thing was people going too slow in front of me. I didn't tailgate anyone though. The headlights on a crown vic were pretty recognizable. You are in a car that when people see it they automatically drop 10mph even if they weren't speeding. I got behind sevearal cars that were going the speed limit only to have them see me and drop it to 45 for the next 10 miles. I am not making an excuse to tailgate but it does get old.

I just skipped straight to the bottom of this thread in case of any spoilers. Just ordered it on DirecTv. Just waiting on her to get out of her nightly 40 minute damn shower!

I can't really fathom how micro-stamping would even work. On a metal firing pin only fractions of a millimeter wide. There are only so many combinations of ways to make it where each one makes it's own unique primer strike. Even as time goes on and the gun needs a new pin, your order a duplicate that was made at time of munufature?

I enjoyed Hickok45's video on the 42 even though I am not interested in one. It don't get much better than his videos.
