MSNBC Gets to the bottom of what really happened.
glowdotGlock replied to greenego's topic in General Chat
I'm a Stern listener but this wasn't fa fa funny to me. -
I can't believe the dogs didn't hear it even though they were all in a back room together. I would at least leave one of those ankle bitters run around at night. It would sure let you know.

Hope this isn't a re-post. Just saw this story. That would just be creepy as hell to watch this video after the fact if it were my house. But if it were my house it would be much more secure. http://www.wkrn.com/story/26049503/caught-on-tape-gunman-reaches-through-dog-door-to-unlock-home

Feel Like I Lost a Neighbor: KY Rest Stop Shooting
glowdotGlock replied to jhc77's topic in General Chat
I don't use rest areas on the side of the interstate. I know some people that do, and I tell them I would rather go to a city exit that has more people around instead of people from who knows where. Allot of people like those rest areas because they are so easy to get on and off the interstate. Well bad people know that as well.
I sleep at them some nights in the truck. I don't have to worry as much about a rookie hitting my truck in the truck stop.:P -
I just wrote an article on the most dangerous vehicles. 1. Cars 2. Trucks 3. Motorcycles
-
I tried looking but didn't see it. Someone beat me to it . Drlete please.
-
In this situation with him in a wheelchair it wouldn't warrant a bullet. If he does start beating the car just start walking around it. What is he gonna do? Chase you? If so just stand on the roof of the car or something. If he had a firearm then different story. Ball bat, no.

I think this goes along with the "Rest Area" thread on here. This happened Tuesday night at the welcome center just north of the TN line. http://www.wkrn.com/story/26030229/two-dead-after-shooting-at-kentucky-welcome-center

It would not have been justified. Glad it didn't escalate further.

Pizza Hut. Deep Dish. Double cheese. 2x's black olives then more olives.

I saw this on Facebook. Someone posted it on our Jeep club's wall. Even though it's not guns I thought I would share. I got a good laugh out of it.
-
It is dangerous but pretty amusing. I wish I had some video of when I used to drive a lowboy having to load and haul excavators and dozers. I love operating and hauling equipment. If there were any money in it I would still be doing it today.

These are some good pics. I wish I had the money for a high speed camera. Catching things on photo that the human eye can't has always been interesting to me.

Aw man. I must have missed it.
No, that was actually poor wording on my part. No insult nor underlying intent was implied. Truly pure humor on my part as I knew your intentions. Sorry for the confusion. :P
I thought after reading that again that was probably what happened. I was quick to get defensive. Bad on my part too. Sorry about that. No problems here : )
I entered this thread thinking, "no fregin way is someone on this board a racist like this." I'm glad I was wrong but your post cracked me up and reminded me why I was curious about this thread in the first place.
So you are accusing me of something?
What is preventing you from just cutting the barrel flush with the mag cap after installation of the Raptor Grip? Would that be slightly longer than the 14"?
I guess you could. Just as long as the gun left the factory with a pistol grip and is longer than 26".

I bought 2 50 round boxes from ammunitiondepot.com of 124 grain +p a couple months ago.

I do most of my shopping at home. I have an igloo 12 volt thermo-electric cooler and it keeps things really cold. If I havent moved for a few hours it will freeze the bottled water. I would assume prime uses Qualcomm and e-logs. I have never dealt with them but I hear they are a PITA. I got my class A when I was 19. I was too young to go out of state so I drove a dump truck for a year and drove a lowboy for a construction equipment rental company for a while hauling dozers and excavators. It was fun but the pay sucked. The week after I turned 21, along with applying for my HCP I went on the road with the company I am with now. I did go to a school in Murfreesboro for 3 weeks just because nobody in my family drove a truck. My dad has his class B for work buy I didn't really have any resources to use. I wish now I hadn't gone because the company I am wiyh now didn't really look for that. I would definitely keep my eyes open for other routes. I hate to discourage you but I sure would hate to see a fellow TGO'er out there for 6 weeks at a time in a 63 mph truck with e-logs.
Now that's a good work environment!
It really is. It is a small office. About 6 people. I like being able to call whoever I need. I have the owner's cell phone number and can call and talk to him like an old friend. I don't have any long voice prompts when I call in. It's usually my boss saying "Hey what's up queer?"(as a joke). It really is laid back.

I am a G- Shock "collector". There are so many you can choose from. In my opinion the Casio G Shock is the toughest in the world. I own 6 and my nost recent purchase I will add below is of my GA1000FC-1ACR modeling with my edc 19. I think you would really like the MTG and Aviator series of G Shocks. You should give them a google. My next is gonna be the GWA1100-1A3.
