  1. I also used to put a couple long guns in the fold out bed in my sofa and fold it back into the couch.
  2. Sometimes in my opinion a the best safe is a good hidding place unless you are looking for fire protection too. Before I had a big safe for my guns I would put my pistols in their boxes and put them in the return air vent behind the filter. There are so many ways to hide stuff in your home where nobody will ever think to look. But you don't get the fire protection though.
  3. I looked around for things to use. I tried the electronic grill igniter but wanted more juice. I had a taser in the safe I have had for years so I taped it to the outside and ran wires from the contacts to two bolts drilled in from each side with about a .75 inch gap inside the combustion chamber. Works great.
  4. Here is a pic of one. The person who built this one used a taser for taped to the side for ignition and added a gate valve in the end for easy spraying of the fuel. I suspect the owner likes to use starting fluid. I did not just go get this out of my shop and lay it in my yard to take a pic ; )
  5. I would post a pic of one that I "saw" but not sure of the lagality now. I assume they are legal?
  6. I delivered a load of lead ingots to Hawker a few weeks ago. The next day I found out a plane had crashed in the field next to it. Clean town from what I saw.
  7. Thanks. I will try to get in touch with him tomorrow. I found one in Decatur AL but I don't k ow what shape it is in. A guy bought a house with it there and only wants $75.
  8. I am looking for a place in Middle TN that sells towers for CB and Ham radio. I would like to buy a 40-50' free standing type. Is there anywhere around Nashville that makes these?
  9. I was prescibed 7.5 mg lortabs a year or so back for a couple months for knee pain and I could see how someone could get addicted. I am glad I never had the need for them after I ran out. But I did experience the euphoric feeling along with the abilty to concentrate and tons of energy. I am glad I didn't get "hooked" but I do see how easy it would be for some to do so.
  10. This is my little hell raiser. She does let me know if there are any noises in the middle of the night.
  11. That kid in the M jacket and the man in the blue sweater crack me up.
  12. Remix... lol http://youtu.be/HQ_fO8BSPZo
  13. I was on YouTube looking around at some world champion whistlers because I have that kind of time. I came across what might be the funniest/cheesiest video of all time. This first clip is the real one of him "whistling" and I will post a link below to a funny remake. I haven't laughed so hard in a while. I needed this. http://youtu.be/5ESBWC7doqo
  14. Just wanted to remind everyone that this airs tonight at 8 central on fox. It's an hour show. Kind of excited.
  15. When I was training when I was a reserve a lot of the full time guys would come shoot with us. We had all duty gear on and we "wresteled" on the ground with one another doing grapples and whatnot and then we would end up on our back holding a 200+ pound guy off of you for what seemed likr an hour then get up and run to cover and shoot or spin around on the ground and shoot between our legs. It was hot too. I bet I lost 10 pounds that week.
  16. I have been having this happen lately on my work phone. I requested a work cell for me to use so I would stop going over on my personal phone. The guy before me who had the phone was some sort of pimp I guess because I get calls from women especially on the weekend. I tell them that he doesn't have the phone now and they have decreased. But anyway, I would get a number calling it and I would answer and nothing. I woukd call back to hear it was "non working". A woman at work called Verizon and had it blocked. They said it was most likely a bill collector that uses an outgoing line only.
  17. I have been carrying IWB for several years now. I didn't like the first few holsters I went through but I have ben carrying a G19 in a Shepherd for a couple years and no complaints.
  18. I was an LEO for a while and we did train but I took it much further at home on my own time and dime. I do wish some of the brothers out there would train more. You can become complacent.
  19. I'm just gonna tell myself it's all the ladies lookin' lol
  20. I still don't understand. Got 7100 before I even have 900 posts. I'm not that popular...
  21. The only "custom" wood work I've done is screwed a side saddle to the stock of my old knock-around 870 Wingmaster. Lol I wanna see a supressed SBR AR15 that you own.
  22. What idiots! They assumed that the guy was selling the rifle fully loaded and chambered? I bet there wasn't even a mag in it. Morons.
  23. Yes, he was defficient but he could've just froze and sat on his ass.
  24. I see all these posts talking about the LEO's "skill/aim". That is not a thought that popped into my head. I was glad he was there. He may have been the only one in that building to react or that did have access to a firearm. Unfortunately 1 person died but how many more if he didn't step in?
  25. I have been driving these damn things for 7 years and I get frustrated sometimes but I don't think I would ever get mad enough to leave my truck.
