  1. Damn... So I am guessing the cartridge would go in the "cylinder" like a revolver and line up with the (most likely un-rifled) barrel and into the kaleidoscope silencer with that sweet ass drill handle vertical grip? I would almost pay to see this thing in action.
  2. Thank you for not calling 840 "interstate 840". I don't know how many times I have heard people say that. When they do I ask "oh yeah? What other states does it run in to?"
  3. This^
  4. What can I search for on YouTube to see this? When I click on this is says sign in to watch with no other actions. I am already signed in to ever method on youtube on my phone.
  5. I have used Slacker for a couple years. I am a premium member at I think 8-10 dollars a month. I like it. You can actually listen to whole albums in order. I listen to a lot of stand up and there is no shortage of it.
  6. I had a Gen 3 20 I bought a few years ago thinking I would do some hunting with it. I regret selling it.
  7. Someone claims they were candles let loose in Lawrenceburg but I don't think they would burn that long and stay in such a tight formation from such a distance. Lawrenceburg to Chapel Hill is a long damn way for a balloon and a candle.
  8. I did see this. Kind of odd.
  9. I was just about to say that.
  10. I do like a few of his songs but am pretty much neutral on this. Ronnie Van Zant said Well I hope Neil Young will remember a southern man don't need him around anyhow...
  11. We have all seen dumb ads on these FB pages. I have had good luck with some of them. Not making fun of the pages just some of the dumb stuff I see. I was just browsing and saw all of these within minutes of each other and they were too good not to share. I have marked out any names. I'm not posting to be grumpy. I truly do get a chuckle out of some of these. Can we make this the official "Dumb S### on Facebook" thread? This guy here only wants a gun shot less than 10 times... 11 is too much wear. This Glock must have golden inards. What a deal! And if you know anything about guns...... Another steal.
  12. When I was in my late teens my neighbor would let me practice calling coyotes on his farm for pest control. I was just a kid and only had a .22, .410 and a 12 guage so he would let me use his 7mm rifle. Some shots actually didn't mess them up too bad but a couple I took were just a pile of guts.
  13. Good to see you are home!
  14. If you are going to be there a while and it is a rural lot out in the country you could dig a small 55 gallon drum septic system for a couple hundred dollars. If you have power and water it won't be so bad. I lived in a 36' 5th wheel Dutchman for 2 months while remodeling my house. You can also do as others have mentioned and get a portable tank. Like I said, if you are in the country you can run a hose pipe several feet out from the camper to drain your grey water (from shower and sinks) and just the black water (from toilet) will go to the tank. So if you just pee outside and use the toilet for serious business you could go for weeks on an empty tank.
  15. Prayers with you fella. Hope all goes well and you get get some time to rest. See ya back.in a few days.
  16. I'd say that would help with the flu.
  17. I wonder what the medicine was... probably just aspirin.
  18. I was given this by an ex girlfriend about 6 years ago. It is a wooden tube about 1.5 inches wide and 5.5 inches tall. The labeling on the outside reads that the shipper was Amos R Flock in Jamestown, PA. It is from the Miles Medical Co. in Elkhart, IN. It is a free sample of medicine for something called "LaGrippe". I found it humorous that on the label it also says "To Postmaster: If unable to deliver to adress given hand to someone who has had or is having LaGrippe". I looked up the stamp to get an idea of how old this is. It is a Grant 5 cent stamp and it was available from 1898 to 1899. It just found this again and decided to post this here. Pretty interesting.
  19. It sure does cum a lot... Had to..
  20. I went to my parent's today and got to talking guns with Dad and had forgotten about my old .410 being at their house. Well, I shouldn't say I forgot about the gun but I hadn't thought about it or seen it in a few years. He told me to bring it on home where it would be safer than laying under his been where it's been since about 2003. It is a sentimental gun to me. My grandfather died in 81 and I came along in 86 so I never got to meet him. He bought this gun for my father when he was 11 which would be around 1975 then when I was about 10 or 11 my dad gave it to me. I can say this is the very first gun I ever owned. It has seen it's share of coons and squirrels over the years. Anyway, it is a Stevens model 94 Series M .410 with a 26" barrel. It is in about 80% condition. I do recall as to why I haven't shot it in years, the hammer broke one day and I put it away. I am currently trying to find a hammer and replace it and while I'm at it replace any springs. But I am having a little difficulty dating it. I have looked at a few other forums and googled but can't seem to find it. My dad couldn't recall if it was new when it was given to him or not. It has B9039xx stamped into the left side of the reciever. Can't wait to install a new hammer and bring back some memories.
  21. It's not hard. You can even make a good HD video with most phones now. And to upload it to youtube isn't much hassle. I've done it a few times.
  22. The apps work well if the agency you want to hear is being streamed. If you wanna listen to Nashville and other cities you are good but if you want to listen to your little small town PD odds are no one is streaming it. You can actually monitor your local radio traffic with your scanner and upstream it to a site as a contributor like Radioreference.com or similar sites. Let's say you wanted to listen to a Sherrifs office in some county that isn't online you could link your reciever to the webs and contribute the audio for others to listen to. Most departments you hear on the app are being streamed to the Web by individuals not the department.
  23. I would love to see this happen. Maybe some members could appear in different videos. Each person on here has different skill and knowledge. It would be cool to see different members talk about certain things and see a face and hear a voice from the other members. Sounds like a great idea. I know the webs is flooded with gun reviews and so on but to watch one made by my "neighbor" would be pretty cool.
  24. I use a discone antena similar to this setup.
