Having been a cycle dealer for 50 years and have been in the business for 60+ years I tell all my customers to buy something that they can get worked on by a local dealer or shop. DO NOT BUY any of this low priced China made stuff that is sold by anyone anywhere. Parts are all but non available. Like the others have said--start with used until he gets used to riding and then go for something better. You won`t lose as much money that way when you do trade up. Good Luck

I have a Lone Wolf 6in ported barrel for my glock 21sf and love it. shoots straight and have had no problems. got it direct from Lone Wolf. My new Glockstore catalog has them listed also for the same price as LW but you can get a discount from Glockstore and the shipping is a little less.

There are some Belly bands out there that you wear under your shirt where you don`t need a belt. Pick up any good gun mag at your local store. there are plenty of holster ads in them

Do a good check---I have been in the repair business for many years. About 90% of all the mowers you buy today are all made in the same factory ( American Yard Products) They are made to the individual company specs. A lot of the parts will interchange if you know what to look for. Spend a little more money and get a name brand that has it`s own factory.

They haven`t done me any good here in Nebraska. I will drop them when it comes time to renew this fall. Spend your money elsewhere or for more ammo.

I have been in the motorcycle business all of my life. BEWARE of all these new CHINA imports. Parts & service are hard to come by. I tell everyone who asks me the same question you posted is to buy from a good dealer or know a good dealer close by where you can get it worked on. The best bike in the world is worthless if it breaks and you can`t get it fixed. Like they all have said---Shop Around as there are great buys out there. Good Luck

I have been riding for over 50 years here in Nebraska and have been ran off the road several times but never have been hit--been close. My family has been in the cycle business since 1947 and I still run a small repair shop. Had to slow down on riding due to some back problems. When you are on a bike you have to watch every other vehicle around you because they will run over you and then say that they didn`t see you and they think that will let them off the hook. That just shows how bad of shape the nation is in. Trouble is that it will probably get worse, if possible.

I have a 21sf. I went with 3.5lb connector, aluminum trigger, steel guide rod, titaininum stricker, extended slide lock lever, extended take down bar,and a Lone Wolf ported barrel just for kicks. Gun is fun and shoots verrrrrry well.

You might check with www.natchezss.com for ammo. I have bought a lot lately from them and the price even with shipping is decent.

I have a DeSantis holster at 3-4oc for my Glock 21sf or also a Fobus roto-paddle at the same or cross-draw for a Glock 30 plus a extra mag somewhere on my belt depending on the clothing of the day and if I am driving or not.

I have never seen cold temps in Tennessee--just cooler than normal. I can relate to all that was said being from Tennessee. All you need to do is to live out here in the "Flatlands" for a while and you realize how much you can miss some place that much. I only make it back to the Boro a couple times a year and I cherish every minute that I am there. Enjoy the south!

It is my nature to change everything I own. I have a Glock 21sf. I put in a 3.5 connector, a alluminum trigger asmy. & a steel guide rod w/spring. ( I hate plastic parts )and a ported Lone Wolf barrel. Life is too short not to have fun and the gun works great. I doubt if I will ever wear it out from shooting as I have too little time to play and too many guns to play with.

You could be here in Nebraska. It has been snowing & blowing all day and is suspossed to go all night. It is warm--about 28 degrees so all is normal. Enjoy and hope the storm misses you all.

Grew up in a motorcycle shop and still run it. Spent some time with airplanes & boats--too expensive. Shortened a couple of VW buses--looking for another one. Now it is just mostly guns and antiques or what the wife says to do.

Welcome aboard from a transplanted Boro person. Guns are a necessary hobby that you usually can get your money back on in the rare case you get tired of it. At least your widow can use the money.

I also shoot a Glock 21SF. I did all the Glock mods to it plus a Lone Wolf ported barrel. Love the gun. I just ordered a DeSantis holster for it. they have several holsters made just for the 21SF. I also have a nylon universal holster that works well for fun carry around the farm. I think you will really like the gun.
