Try canned cat food. I have lots of problems on the farm with wild animals eating my cats food. The only ones that don`t eat it are woodchucks & wild turkeys. My problem is that the "wild" animals are too tame. I can walk up to most of the possums and get fairly close to the coons & turkeys. The woodchucks are somewhat gun shy as I take pot shots at them from time to time just to keep them alert. Country life is great.

I have a Jennings 22 that my son-in-law found in a car at the dealership he worked for. It was in a used car trade-in so he brought it to me. I was sooooo happy to get a great gun like that. I have had it completely apart and cleaned it all up and lubed it like new. Too bad it still won`t shoot straight or without jamming. You can`t load one into the chamber without taking the safety off first and then hope it doesn`t go bang when you release the slide back. It just hangs in my gun cabinet with all my other toys.

I still like my Glock 26. It goes well with the Glock 21sf that I have. Both are very simple to operate and to work on if needed.

We are still in the mid $1.70s here in eastern Nebraska. But then we have one of the highest gas taxes in the country to deal with.

I was only in a Dicks store once when I was in the Boro. Was not impressed. My local farm supply store here beats the local Wally World on ammo prices. They just don`t carry enough of it in stock.

Got a Glock 26 to go with it`s big brother--a 21sf that I already had. Lots of ammo and traded a motorcycle that I was working on for a Winchester 1200 shotgun--I only had $100.00 in the cycle and I figured the gun was better property. Still got to get a new 22 rifle yet this month. That will make my 8 gun case full as my gun total will be 17 then. Gotta get new gun case next.

I shoot a Savage Striker pistol in a 223. It has the stainless barrel with muzzle brake and I have a 3-9 x 40mm scope on it. Just plain fun for varmits. Too bad that Savage quti making them.

Here in Nebraska Scheels Sporting goods have them as a special order only for $295.00. Don`t have any in stock and I didn`t ask the delivery time.

Tell them to talk to Nebraska. They fell all apart a few years back. Tried two different coaches with no avail. Now they are on their 3rd coach and time will tell. Big Red fans are a all or nothing bunch who can`t stand to lose. Shucks, Nebraska can`t even make the top 25 anymore. I still support them and I also support Tennessee since it is my home state. They both need lots of help.

I never fill out warranty cards on anything. I like to gamble on something going wrong. I figure I can fix about anything that might happen and I don`t need anymore junk mail coming my way. It seems like if you do register whatever you bought someone is sending you mail about everything you don`t want or need.

I was thinking of heading home to the "Boro" in a couple of weeks. Maybe I`ll wait till later. Gas here in eastern Nebraska is running around $3.46 for Regular unleaded with no shortage. There was talk of a shortage but nothing ever came of it and the price is still going down. Good Luck

Everytime I go into Opry Mills I don`t look for any signs. there are so many ways to get into the mall that no one has time to look for stupid stuff. It is the same way here in Nebraska at the malls. We just go for it.
