What do you do when you encounter a posted business?
LazyAce replied to 10-Ring's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Here in Nebraska if you carry past a posted sign and happen to get caught it will cost you a fine and probably lose your permit and you don`t get it back -
Welcome from an old former Boroite. Like they all say--this is a great site to hang out on . Enjoy the ride

Welcome to the forum from and old former Boroite. Enjoy your stay

Merry Christmas to you & yours from the snowy plains of Nebraska.

I carry either one of my Glocks that have no external safety or a Taurus PT140 with a safety. I carry all of them fully loaded and ready to go. The older you get the slower you are so every second counts.

Glock 21 Difficult to Field Strip (it could be me)
LazyAce replied to runco's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
Both of my Glocks were a pain for me as I have lost a lot of strength in my hands. I put a longer release bar in both of them and that helps a lot. I know that my 21 is harder than my 26 but like they say----more rounds help. Good Luck -
And a Good morning back to you. this is a great place to hang out. there are a lot of good people here with loads of great information and the best part is that everyone is very nice as compared to other forums that I look at The days will drag by now until you get your ticket to carry. Enjoy and stay safe

I was born in Middle Tennessee and spent a lot of my younger days there before we moved to Nebraska. I agree with the others. If you try to be nice most people think you are a jerk. I have had it happen in all sizes of towns, it doesn`t really matter. Some of the small country towns might be a bit better at being nice but forget the bigger cities. A few years ago I had some medical issues that left my ballance a little messed up so I started using a cane when I was out with my wife shopping. Some people look at that and give me a stupid look as to why are you using that, now I have it with me just so I can beat the smart mouth kids over the head or accidentally trip one of them. I come back to Tennessee every fall and enjoy every minute that I am there. Wife & I have talked about moving back but am tied down here with too many things. Enjoy the Southern way of life

It has been said that if Obama is re-elected it will be the last election this country will see and America as we know it will be gone forever. Something to think about

It`s nice to see them out in the wild like that. I have a small flock of about 25 that live on my farm. They are almost tame. They come in and eat off of my birdfeeder and the corn that I have out for the squirles. I can walk within about 10 feet of them most of the time and they don`t care. Still it is nice to watch how they act with each other. They are a lot smarter than most people give them credit for. Good Luck hunting

Welcome aboard. Always glad to have another Boroite in the mix. I was born there a very long time ago and get back once or twice a year to visit family. Really miss it. This site is a wealth of info and great people to talk to. Enjoy

Good buy. Iown a G21sf and a G26. Use both for carry guns. This will only make you want more. Enjoy

Welcome aboard from an old former Boroite. This is a great site to hang around. I just wish that I was back there to have fun with all of you. I only get there once a year and the wife has so many things to do that I can`t get anything done that I want to. Enjoy the Ride

new sign I would love to see in some stores
LazyAce replied to a topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Looks like a good sign to me -
Good little gun but I had to sell it due to the fact of good old Aurthur Itus living in my hand and I couldn`t get a tight grip on it and that made it tough to shoot with the recoil. I`ll stick to my Glock 26 or Taurus Pt140 for carry.

Luv them Glocks! I have a 26 for EDC and a tweaked 21sf for fun and sometimes carry. They are easy to work on and go Bang every time. Can`t beat em.

Welcome aboard from an old Boroite. I was born there way back when it was a small town and now I live in Nebraska but get back ther every fall to visit friends & family. Like they said--watch where you go. I know I really have to watch when I am there as to here in Nebraska. We are a lot more free here with places being marked. Good Luck

What gun did you use to take your carry permit class?
LazyAce replied to blizzard's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Used my Glock 26 but like all the others have ssaid--the shooting part is easy. Just take your time. I know a few who have used a 22 for their testing. Enjoy the day -
Merry Christmas to all from the flat lands of Nebraska. Hope everyone gets what they wanted and remember not to over eat.

Santa is like the Easter Bunny, The Tooth Fairy, Cupid and the Great Pumpkin. They give the kids something to live for. In this scary age we live in the kids need all the help they can get. If you don`t like it just deal with it for a few years and then it`s over.

I am one of the lucky ones, I own my own business and I can do as I want. I have a sign on my front door saying Guns Welcome and I have a shooting range right out my back door. I run a small motorcycle repair shop just outside of town where I have 160 acres of ground which includes 40 acres of creek bottom and lots of trees. I have worked for a tornado magnet builder ( mobil home plant ) a couple of times and they don`t allow guns anywhere on the property which is dumb since almost everyone is armed with a staple or nail gun. Some of them will shoot 3 inch nails about 25 yards and stick in the wall.

Go over to Taurusarmed.net and see what they have to say about this. Good Luck
