I think the back injury from an sob holster is an urban myth.Not to say it can't happen but .However a strong side holster with a FBI tilt can be worn behind the hip and will be a lot more comfortable as well as easier to draw from seated than a sob holster.

If Hero Gear will sell and install the furniture free then go for it.It would be a lot cheaper than ordering the stuff and doing it yourself cuz while the stock ain't no biggie to change the forend requires a special wrench.

I don't get the term "deep concealment".Your gun is either concealed or not.I guess it means you actually try to conceal your gun well enough to avoid detection which is the purpose of carrying concealed in the first place.

Cleveland would be better as far as having more people to talk to.If you know Gary Harmon(he lives in your area) perhaps you could hitch a ride with him,he shoots every month at Cleveland.At Manchester you would be one of the 4 or 5 people who show up for IDPA.

I get where you are coming from Grout.You cannot always pick up an "aggresive aura" or "furitive movement" prior to a surprise attack,likewise an attack from a distance.Note the number of sniper cases in the past few years as well as crowded area shootings.In a perfect scenario you would be able to see the subject preparing to attack but alas that is not always the case.Sometimes you have to pay the ferryman.
