    any H&k guys?

I aiways wanted an HK USP in .45 ACP.I finally found one at a good price, put it in the layaway, bought spare mags, holster etc.Got it out and took it to the range.First tried some 230 rn I had loaded and it was a tack driver,1 ragged hole at 15 yards.......and about 6 inches low.Tried some 200 gr rn.........same thing, one hole 6 inches low.So I tried my favorite load a 200gr swc and.......same thing, one low hole except it would FTF about every 3 rds.Now I could have just filed down the front sight to bring the impact up but it was a night sight,so I sold the damn thing at the next gun show, sold the mags on the HK forum and gave the holster to my Boxer for a chew toy.
  9. I may go and look around.

    .38 super vs .45

Muzak, may I suggest an STI Eagle or Edge in .38 Super.Order it through Brazos or Dawson and have them put a little extra buff on it and have it shipped to your local dealer.
  13. It has a solid feel and it points naturally.

  20. So you actually own a foundry in Knoxville that forges or casts 1911 frames, slides, barrels and other small parts?.Cool.
  21. Well if you are using a cylinder choke gun I would go with the #1 buck shot.More pellets and tighter pattern than 00.I have a slug barrel on my 870 with screw in chokes so I have # 6 shot with the full choke tube installed.Anybody thinks that combo won't do some damage. At 7 yards it will slam a steel pepper popper to the ground harder than any handgun round.
