  1.:rofl: I notice O'Neal only shows up when they have food.
  2. I would have said "Ha,Ha Mother ****er":D
  3. O'Neal and me tried that, remember? It got to where nobody showed up and I had to give half the entry fee back to Carter. You think running one match a month gets old try one a week and helping O'Neal at CRC as well.I got so burned out that I never really had the burning desire to compete after that. That is why I only came to CHRPC every now and then. Now I'm just a plinker.
  4. I carry the same gun year round.
  5. Check with Taurus. Most centerfire guns can be dry fired with no ill effects.
  6. Capitolism is one thing, ethics and integrity are another.
  7. Nice,it would be nicer if Colt would put hi-hold beavertail grip safeties on them.
  8. Just a wild ass guess but I would say the compact does not have the extended tang because it is a.......compact. In other word it is designed for concealed carry thus smaller overall diminsions.
  9. Are they the factory plastic sights or metal replacements?.

    Ruger LCR

This looks like a gun you see on tv news backdrop, ugly as hell.I'll stick with my J frame.
  11. Demoncrat or Repug,no matter who was elected this was going to happen.Demoncrats see future voters,Repugs see increased contributions from business owners.

  13. So,who was it that said they had enough ammo and components if TSHTF.
  14. +1.Sounds like he should not be mentioned all over again.
  15. Best IPSC match in the state folks.Seriously you Nashville area people need to go shoot with this bunch. They are friendliest bunch in the state.I just wish I lived closer.
  16. Don't forget the monthly Greg O'neal Memorial Stuck in the Mud match at the Chattanooga Rifle Club is this Sunday.
  17. If I ain't mistaken they were allowing .22 rifles to be used for the rifle portion due to the ammo shortage.I am sure somebody who is more into it will know the answer.
  18. Nice Smith. As others have said that gun is on my short list.I have found handgun recoil to be a subjective thing.Guns or calibers that some find excessive are mild to others. The reason the recoil seemed less with one hand was the gun was allowed to recoil and move upward with your hand as your elbow flexed. In the 2 hand hold recoil was more rearward and you felt it more. But I could be wrong.
  19. Yep,Buddy you over reacted.I see grown men sprinting toward someone in parking lots all the time.Course they are usually in the act of mugging somebody but hey times are tough,a brother has to make a buck some way. Seriously if anyone is not alert and aware of their suroundings in this day and age then they are truly a "sheeple".
  20. Never. You can thank the patron saint of Conservatives Ronald Reagan for that.
  21. They are talking about Cleveland the best club in the area, not that club on Hunter Rd. run by a cabal of old men.
  22. Buy quality equipment to begin with.Lee makes good dies but their presses are not very durable. At the least start with a RCBS Partner or Rockchucker to learn on and if you can afford it go ahead and get a Dillon because when it comes down to it you get what you pay for and with the Dillon it is the best customer service and technical support in the reloading industry.
  23. If you have a dremel tool kydex holsters are easy to cut and modify to your needs.I modified a Blackhawk holster for a Glock 17 and you could not tell unless you looked really close.I had several shooters ask me who made my holster because they liked it so much.

    Daytona

Too bad they can't all be as exciting as the year Earnhardt crashed.
  25. The only time I go to PC is on a rainy weekday morning at daylight.I leave when I hear a car come up the drive.Talk about some ijits up there.
