I had the lymph node in my armpit burst once due to Cat Scratch Fever.Pus shot out and landed 5 feet away.I worked the rest of the day with a leaking hole,My shirt was covered with sweat and blood,got home called my Mother who is an RN she came over and made me go to the hospital.The doctor was able to insert a pair of bandage scissors all the way in the hole.They inserted a wick in the hole that had to be changed twice a day for a week.
