Several years ago I was hammering the legs of some inbed weld plates over.Guess in my haste my finger got in the way.Remember the pic on the web a few years back of the guy who blew the end of his thumb off placing it in front of the 500 Mag? Thats what my finger looked like,completly blew the end out of it,looked like a bloody,meaty mushroom.It healed back with a couple scars on the end now,took several years before I got all the feeling back in it

About 9 years ago there was a nice little range down in a holler between Woodbury and Auburntown.They hosted a big 3 Gun match and later IDPA and USPSA matches for about 6-7 months.IIRC it was hell getting in there to it,you had to have a truck to make it.I don't think the group that ran the place is still around.They also had a range somewhere around Smithville.

  14. Yeah,I used to work in Dickies carpenter pants,they suck for pocket carry.My advice if you like carpenter style jeans is go with Carhartts.The front pocket is bigger.

  22. Try shooting a 30 with 200gr SWC's,turns a Glock into a jamomatic.I've owned 2 30s and neither one would make it through an entire mag without a FTF.

    The boat chute is still at Lake Winney,you want the best BBQ don't go to Sticky Knuckles go to Hillbilly Willys in Lookout Valley,and the area around GT is only rough if you are an office working yuppy
  25. recguns.com has the details on how the matches were set up.I remember at one time Kawser made a special bullet just for pin shooting.It was a lead bullet with a flat nose but the surface of the nose looked like a meat tenderizer.It was a popular sport for a short time
