  1. For God's sake, don't talk like that, Caster will be loading with silver next!
  2. Congrats! IDK what Taurus you came from but I bet the XD is lighter.
  3. You beat me to saying it! lol (hazard of the day job).
  4. Chewing tobacco doesn't dry out very quickly (in my experience), why not try it? Personally, I feel like I will have much larger issues if SHtF day happens, really! Now I will grant you that I will probably greatly hate life without my nicotine fix but, maybe I wont even remember or think about it.
  5. Prices seem good to me. I think people just like the look of them, more than the fuctioniall aspects.
  6. Me too. We can only learn and move forward!
  7. Don't need to look - I saw it first hand on Sunday. I wished I had a few of the cards that I've seen at D&T.
  8. And yet, apparently ya did know!   My theory is that if they shine after a few hours in the tumbler fine, if not I toss them. I realize about the dents (I have even purposefully bent them to show my son), wasn't concerned there.
  9. I shot at an outdoor range yesterday and was picking up brass and it got me to thinking. Does anyone know if it is safe to use discolored brass casings? I'm not talking about some with a bit of dirt on it - I understand what polishing takes off but ones that have been in the weather for so long that they have turned that deep, dark bronze color. I even picked up one that had turned blue or purplish... like it had seen a very high temperature. Found a nickel plated case (the chrome silver ones). The interior of it had the plating peeling out. (Interestingly enought this ones primer was rusting too).   I'm not a terrably picky person but I tossed all the above examples, what do yall think?
  10. I shot IDPA in Manchester yesterday... got to talking about reloading and where to find things. I told them to look you up.
  11. When I tried to become a benefactor I had some trouble (don't remember exactly what it said). I use Internet Explorer and it worked (I normally use Firefox). Just a thought.
  12. M&P's are great for me! I will say that I replaced the sear and the striker block with a USB, from Apex (did it myself with the videos). The 9 was "well used" and with the new sear dropped the trigger pull to 3.5 pounds! I carry these things and don't need any less than that. Now Apex has come-out with a sear that moves the trigger action way forward. I like that but would have to get rid of what I have already :(  Good luck and have fun with it!
  13. Excellent! I have the 9 and 45... always wanted to fire a 40. I'm envious!
  14. There were a few boxes of 115grn and lots of 147 (lots)... I took the last 2 of 124.
  15. They didn't for pistol (IDK about anything else)- said they used to have a guy that did the casting for them but he quite. They do have some Barry's Bullets (which are plated).
  16. Thanks a lot DWARREN... YOU made me spend $135 today, well you and Reloader's Bench (said with sarcasm dripping).   Actually, seriously, thanks a lot!
  17. We have a projector on a wall at work - its about a 7' screen. We used Screen Goo (http://www.goosystemsglobal.com/) and around the edges it has a black felt border. They have a lot of information on their site. You can also google it: http://www.lmgtfy.com/?q=projector+paint   Remember to use a UPS for the projector, you don't want to loose power while that bub is hot or you may destroy it!
  18. Its not of much use unless you are in middle TN but D&T Arms in Goodlettsville had quite a bit a few weeks ago (I only paid attention for a coworker).
  19.     Not enough drama for yall on TV? LOL!   I swear I looked at the date from the first post 3 times and kept saying, yeah, that says 2008...
  20. Sure there is! Get yourself a box and try it!
  21. Personally I always buy something if I use a store or restaurant's restroom. I look at it as common courtesy! I know it doesn't cost them much for to use, but a couple of gallons of water, some soap, and paper products DO cost that business something, Not to mention the time it takes for a person to maintain the facilities. And then of course there is the complete a** holes that actually tear them up! Of course I am sure they business owners do get tired of people who come in just to use it and leave and I cant blame them but I beat it is going to cost them more in negative publicity now (hell, I don't want to eat there, just because of this)!   But honestly it IS an abuse of public trust and was very poor decision for the sheriff to give that information out! I would be surprised if it doesn't break some law that says what can be done with that information. THIS is the much more serious issue in this entire incident, if you ask me!
  22. Didn't he already do that too?       I guess its good when people stand-up to being pushed around (even by the government or police) but that sure doesn't mean you won't look foolish doing it!
  23. People do dumb things all the time. I generally go to a range that is fully controlled or one that has no one there!
  24. It was a great match! Just wish my old A5 held a few more rounds, guess I'll have to get that taken care of!!!
