  1. That reminds me, UPS and FedEx also hire seasonal help, pay is good too.
  2. I liked it better than the fairgrounds show, roomier, more gun vendors, more rare finds. give it a B+
  3. Gun Show Listings ForTennesee I think the time is 9am to 6pm Sat, 9am to 4pm Sun, I think.
  4. We are on the edge of the silly season so clothing/department stores will be needing seasonal employees. Say you worked at a Thrift store and Pizza Huts, there's plenty of fast food places and there's always Goodwill. Good Luck. My try temp agencies too.
  5. I think they are working, or rather breeding their way east. I've seen them in Centerville/Hickman County. Another ten years they'll be in Wilson Co..
  6. No experience in the mentioned small pistols but I'm very curious in this new addition to the category - Heizer Firearms - Creators of DoubleTapâ„¢
  7. True but this needs to be front page news, it certainly would be if it was a Republican in the House.
  8. We can only hope that the Republicans will have the spine to take this bull by the horns. This administration is hiding so many lies it would redeem Nixon's faults. Solyndra, Fast&Furious, Sun Power, LightSquared. It's sickening that the important stuff is being ignored while that attack HC. Democrats are showing their true colors.
  9. Herman Cain-Newt Gingrich Lincoln-Douglas Style Debate - C-SPAN Video Library Interesting and entertaining debate over entitlements. This wasn't watched by very many since the BAMA/LSU game was being played on another channel.
  10. That's the best showing for Romney too which is kinda of weird since he's been lagging in most of the polls. Cain came in third which may be his lowest poll yet.
  11. I think these S&W's are a good buy. Might look at Ruger's new SP101 in .22.
  12. The P238 on top of the Nano.
  13. Might call around, G&L in Hendersonville had a used one a while back.
  14. I bought one of these when it was called SuperFire. Lasted about a year and died. I can't find any address or source to return or complain within the states. The batteries have UltraFire on them. I'm SOL as it appears. Maybe you'll have better luck.
  15. FYI I had gotten 3 estimates, called 5 contractors but 2 weren't interested apparently. All three were pretty close in price and all wanted to add an option for additional work. Dale Insulation won the bid with customer service and follow-up. Two legal mexicans (I hope) did the work in 5 hrs. Looks real good and the difference in floor temp is noticeable. Very happy with the results and recommend Dale to anyone.
  16. These are Buffalo Horn from here; Custom Grips for Sig P238 another grip site - SIG P238 BTW, I bought a LC9 before the Sig and wasn't happy with, long trigger pull, almost painful to shoot and I couldn't hit a darn thing. (That Hickok fellow got's sum skill and his video sold me on the LC9.) This little pistol is a real shooter, I got mine at a discount that makes it even more satisfying. And the holster is from http://www.holsterpro.com/products.php
  17. Mine is an early model and Sig's customer service is outstanding. The P290 is in 9mm and also a sweet pistol. Probably a future purchase but would like to compare it with the Kimber Solo and Beretta's new Nano. My P238 has over 1K trouble free rounds through it and it's my daily carry.
  18. Well good for you Hawkeye, glad to hear it's worthwhile for some folks.
  19. I would rather see a big show maybe every quarter that had nothing but ammo, reloading stuff and guns along with a roll of tables with just individuals selling what they had. These individuals could pay maybe a few dollars more just so they could sit and swap with us common folks. I personally don't care much for seeing knifes at gun shows and feel like the Flea Market would suit them.
  20. looks like a good deal on gearhog for a flashlight - GEARHOG | 50% - 70% off your favorite outdoors, hunting and fishing gear +1 for the inexpensive Coleman lights.
  21. Many times if something interests me I'll subscribe and wait for the price to drop or make an offer. If the bump keeps showing up then the seller should to go elsewhere. "Broadcasting desperation usually isn't good for business." is a smart rule to adopt.
  22. Bump with a twist.. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/gear-classifieds/63833-fs-truglo-red-dot.html
  23. That was a moving moment, then and now, thanks. Another pitch by George, listen to the crowd.
