  1. Funny how it was Santorum that took votes away from Mitt and not RP. Paul has a strong following but it's not popularity that wins elections, it winning states and delegates and RP is last in this department. Like bklem18 said, the majority of the country is not ready or wanting RP, heck there's not any person I can name that thinks like him in the House or Senate. He's an outsider and that appeals to some voters. If he were to go up against the calm cool BHO in a debate all BHO has to do is bring up the Middle East. Then we would see Paul, once again, come unglued, waving his arms around with his voice changing as his blood pressure rises. What we would see next is Paul frowning and cower like a little school girl on live TV. Embarrassed by the polished marxist. RP is not presidential in looks, policy and his mannerisms in a society that's more interested in the Kardashians than their crumbling liberty . He's losing and supports Mitt but I doubt he will come out with an endorsement of anyone, he's in it for himself and his best contribution is keeping the Constitution in the discussions. I honestly think that he wouldn't care if BHO gets another term just so he can say that he told us so. Most likely the same thoughts of his hard core supporters.
  2. Rand Paul not the old man. Romney has not unleashed his attack machine on Ron Paul and really hasn't said anything negative towards him, plus both of them have run attack ads against the other two, Newt and Rick. So, is some back room deal in the works?? I do think If Romney does announce Rand as a VP it might give him the edge he needs to push him over the top. It will also stink less to throw the lever for ole Mitt Romoney should he be the pick. http://dailycaller.com/2012/02/22/rand-paul-says-it-would-be-an-honor-to-be-considered-as-veep-this-explains-a-lot/ Another debate tonight, we'll see who screws the pooch this time.
  3. could care less but he needs to pay his taxes.
  4. Allen West is an awesome dude, we need him as VP or someday President. If it come to a brokered convention he would be my pick. Look him up at CPAC.
  5. THAT IS A GOOD LOOKING 1911
  6. A lot of folks feel the same as you and the RP drum has been beaten in several threads prior to this one. Let me be the first non-paul supporter to tell you that "isolationism" is not the correct description, it "NON-INTERVENTIONIST".
  7. In response to your email regarding MARS CHOCOLATE NORTH AMERICA. Mars Chocolate North America has no intention of discontinuing its king size/ tear and share product offerings. Any statement that has appeared in the media claiming the end of Mars’ King Size/Tear and Share Product offerings is incorrect. Taurus M380

two threads covering the same gun, HA! Looks like a good choice for someone who wants something bigger than a .22 and less recoil than a .38 in a revolver. I like the idea of chambering both a 9mm and .380 but what I really like is the new Taurus Ultra-Lite .44 special snub nose and let the women carry the M380.
  9. There was a chemistry professor in a large college that had some exchange students in the class. One day while the class was in the lab, the professor noticed one young man, an exchange student, who kept rubbing his back and stretching as if his back hurt. The professor asked the young man what was the matter. The student told him he had a bullet lodged in his back. He had been shot while fighting communists in his native country who were trying to overthrow his country's government and install a new communist regime. In the midst of his story, he looked at the professor and asked a strange question He asked: "Do you know how to catch wild pigs?" The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch line. The young man said that it was no joke. "You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs find it and begin to come every day to eat the free corn. When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place where they are used to coming. When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side of the fence. They get used to that and start to eat again. You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the last side. The pigs, which are used to the free corn, start to come through the gate to eat that free corn again. You then slam the gate on them and catch the whole herd. Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom. They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught. Soon they go back to eating the free corn. They are so used to it that they have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept their captivity." The young man then told the professor that is exactly what he sees happening in America . The government keeps pushing us toward Communism/Socialism and keeps spreading the free corn out in the form of programs such as supplemental income, tax credit for unearned income, tax exemptions, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare, medicine, drugs, etc. while we continually lose our freedoms, just a little at a time. One should always remember two truths: 1) There is no such thing as a free lunch, someone is paying for it. 2) When you begin to think that having your government provide for you and make your decisions is ok, realize that you’ve also given up the freedom that goes with making your own choices. This is the reason that BHO must go at whatever cost or pride you must suck up.

  11. Also a guy in Lakewood that does a good job.Extreme Window Tint I believe is the name.
  12. Yep, I hear ya.
  13. Most RP supporters are like BHO supporters, you simply can't talk to them and get them to see the reasoning and seriousness of this coming election. Even if he did win, there would be no House or Senate that would support his ideas. It's not worth arguing about.
  14. You're in like company, use the little star or dot to the left of thread.
  15. http://www.cnbc.com/id/46409075 HERE WE GO AGAIN, "Historical oil volatility over the last 10 years shows that oil spikes are regular or cyclical. They happen every year or so, but of course the degree of the price spike varies," he said, adding that volatility in oil is trading below its 10-year average at the moment. "From just a pure trading perspective, that suggests a growing probability of a price spike within months," William said.

  18. Haven't seen a HK show up yet but, I found a cool quote from bkelm18 while doing a search on them, The only proper way to photograph an HK is with backwards bullets. They are so badass, they still feed and shoot properly. bkelm18
  19. Thanks, I thought the most intelligent among us would know something about it. I hate to vote for an unknown but my intention was to go with the RP delegates since these are local fellows and may have an input on fiscal policy and less influence on foreign policy. Assuming they would be worth voting for. A news bite on the brokered convention idea; http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/02/19/clearing-field-unlikely-as-talk-contested-convention-brings-out-more-gop-names/
  20. What about you OhShoot, you know why there are delegates on the ballot and what for?
  21. I'd almost have to have one just for the collection but.... Say you gotta have (or have) a .45 Cal, What would that be in a autoloader? Personally I wish the Beretta 92 style came in .45 but it doesn't so I would settle for a Sig P220 Extreme. Or keep it basic and go for a Glock 30. At least this week those would be my choice.
  22. I wish we could change your mind and others like you on this, it's to important of an election to let principles get in the way. It will discourage me too but we have to get this man out of office. ABO in the General.
  23. Early voting has started and the election is March 6th. Here's the ballot that you should get in the mail. http://www.nashville.gov/vote/docs/ballots/pdf/120306_PresPrimary.pdf Anybody know why and what good is it to vote for these delegates? I've emailed some of them since they are supporting Perry and Huntsman and asked this same question without a response so far. Also would like to know if they are still supporting they candidate under their name.
  24. Fully agree with that.
