  1. More big Gov. than Newt or Mitt?? I think he's a better choice like you think Paul is but it looks like we both will get neither one. Still going to be optimistic and look forward to the remaining primaries.
  2. Here's her response to my little rant via email. Maybe she's getting a few more opinions from gun owners? Thanks. We will disagree on this, but know this: I appreciate you reading me, whether or not your opinion differs. And I am thankful that you took the time to send me your thoughts and feedback. Gail
  3. I think the threat of Rick "imposing" his religious views on the population is overblown and exaggerated by the MSM. Having said that, a lot of our problems are from government taking the place of the family. Government has taken the place of many fathers and all I see Rick saying is that family should be more important in people lives than big brother and that the values that built the country should be revived. Most of the destruction of family has been done by the courts anyway. Rick would be just as good as the others. Looks like Mitt is going to take it anyway and try to convince us that he will overturn obamacare. Sadly BHO will make him look like a fool when debating this topic.
  4. looks pretty grim for the Doctor. Couldn't win VA with only him and Romoney on the ticket. What's that tell ya?
  5. Thanks DaddyO. A quick email will work for me. gkerr@tennessean.com
  6. Oh I forgot about the delegates, those votes went to Newt and Paul backers.
  7. I read that with disgust. Thought about sending in a rebuttal but it's not worth my time. Same liberal crap from a liberal rag.
  8. I would hope Paul would come out and endorse one of the candidates, be it Romney or whoever when the time comes. I believe there are many hardcore Paul supporters, maybe like those waving the signs, that do not see the importance of getting BHO out of office. If Paul does endorse the nominee hopefully his followers will do the same in the General.
  9. I'm sure it's no big deal. But I would hate to have register each of my guns at $65. a pop.
  10. Phelps called Rahm Emanuel’s initiative a “slap in the face of every law-abiding gun owner.†The mayor said requiring handgun owners to register particular weapons would reduce the flow of illegal guns into Chicago from around the state by making it easier for police to figure out where they came from. The registry proposal, which Emanuel said lawmakers will introduce in Springfield in coming weeks, would require anyone who buys a handgun to pay a $65 registration fee. To register a gun, a purchaser would need to provide his name and address, along with the weapon's serial number and the place and date of purchase. The registry would be in addition to the firearm ownership standards all gun owners must already meet. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/politics/clout/chi-mayor-rahm-emanuel-wants-state-handgun-registry-20120209,0,5729705.story Start at the local level, set a precedence then expand. I'm sure there's a chapter on this in Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals.
  11. A strong conservative voice that will be missed by the right only. http://www.marklevin...drew-breitbart/ The left has no shame; http://www.rollingst...douche-20120301 .
  12. I like a Mitt/DeMint ticket. DeMint supported Mitt in 08 so he might could steer Mitt further to the right as VP. Rubio would be good two. Either of these two VP choices would be good for whoever gets the nomination.
  13. Known for poppies I hear but the "region" does have some reserves. If not, it will be a good spot to store our nuclear waste.
  14. I say we start over with a blank slate in the whole region, or rather a parking lot. After that we move in with oil derricks. It's either that or move out completely and forget them. Stop sending them money that goes down the drain and build up our defenses with the savings. .
  15. Good job. I've never seen this before, took a steady hand apparently.
  16. “This is a real problem. And there are some problems where you have to say, ‘You know, you are going to have to figure out how to live your own miserable life ... because you clearly don’t want to learn from me how to be unmiserable.’ I really like Newt and I wish him and Rick would team up. Too bad he stays on the attack with him.
  17. Just like is boss, BHO with his so-called corporate tax rate cut/deal. http://blog.heritage.org/2012/02/22/obama-corporate-tax-reform-a-sugar-coated-harmful-tax-hike/ CUT THE FRICKING SPENDING!
  18. I put my money on the 22A but would like to get a Buckmark one day and a 1911 in .22cal.
  19. http://www.ammoman.com/ has free shipping to TN
  20. The last time I went to this one it was full of long guns, very few handguns on display, same flea market junk seen at the other shows. I believe it's been said before but the best deals are the ones walking around or in the parking lot.
  21. ??? By the time March came along in the 1980 Primaries, President Reagan ran away with it. No comparison at all between Reagan and Paul that I can see. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Republican_Party_presidential_primaries,_1980
  22. Finally, seems all we hear about is shooting accidents and evil guns killing people. TFP.
  23. Seriously, IF he could win, why is he not in 1st or 2nd place right now? (and don't blame it on the media) IF he was in either spot there would be a lot more folks here also supporting him. Nobody can agree with 100% of any candidate and THE biggest issue in this election is making sure BHO is voted out, RP is NOT wining over the majority and that is another reason why we are saying he can't win. Also, if you read all the RP related posts you'll see there are many things that we can agree on but it's obvious that in the primaries that many do NOT.
