Where were Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton when this happened?
kieefer replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Both of these hacks are a total waste of skin and give honest african americans a bad name. -
Don't think this is how the "stand your ground law" works
kieefer replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
This incident is really sicking and it's gonna get worse I'm afraid thanks to a dishonest media and the race baiters including our so-called president. All the facts are not in for gods sakes! The local news is providing more details and some honest reporting and facts, the MSM is helping to blow this out of proportion. I feel sorry for this Zimmerman and his family even though it appears he made some mistakes but the Black Panthers have got a bounty of 1 million out for him and no one is sees anything wrong with this? And to top it off the mother of Trayvon is buying patents on trademarking his name. Lord, what has society come to. Meanwhile our president sits back and stokes the outrage. Sad. -
I'm a lot like you, having been on bikes since I was 10yrs old and your analogy is about the same as my thoughts. Owning a vintage bike and a dirt bike I do make sure it doesn't stall at the light with a little blip, old school habit. No need with my modern bike and I like the roar and rush of speed rather than letting everyone know that my exhaust is gutted. Most of the posers I see are Harley owners with loud pipes constantly revving at every chance. Remains me of the MadMax scene where Toecutter and the gang stops and revs their bikes up before they shut them off. Some of the Squids have this habit for whatever reason, small balls big ego who knows. It's annoying to me especially when they are wearing short pants or a wife beater and flip-flops ....or all three. I also cringed when I see their petite girlfriend on the back dressed about the same way, I can't help but imagine those pretty legs being scared by road rash. It's annoying but if they are happy in their skin so be it. Hopefully they'll learn before it's too late. I tend to think a full-face helmet saves more lives than loud pipes and having learned the hard way that proper riding gear can reduce the pain and recovery if you hit the pavement.

Opinions haven't changed much have they.

Obama made the reference today during an interview about how great his ObamaCare is, matter of fact he said it works great in Massachusetts. I can see Romoney defending his position during a debate with BHO, the position he had then and the one he has now. We really don't know which Mitt we will get, he has outspent every opponent to get this job, told us want we want to hear and has bashed the others with the exception of RP to a lesser extent. He's still getting my vote if he's the nominee but I don't believe or trust him. BTW, Reagan may have once been a Democrat, but liberal? I think not. http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2012/03/22/obama-says-romneys-pretending/

Anti-gun protest at Starbucks on Valentine's Day
kieefer replied to LagerHead's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Well, we can't have it all.....http://www.nomblog.com/20829/ Dear Marriage Supporter, We are urging consumers across the globe to "Dump Starbucks" because the massive international corporation has taken a corporate-wide position that marriage between one man and one woman should be eliminated and that same-sex marriage should become the norm. -
It's going to take time to change the direction of the way the gov. does "business". Looks like Romoney may be as close as we can get right now but whoever it is suits me as long as BHO is out and we begin a step in the other direction, preferably far right (but that won't happen with Mitt). We also can't forget about the House, Senate and local elections. Vote these career-politicians, leftists and moderates out and go for the constitutional candidate.

Speaking of the media lying, Santorum simply promises to enforce federal obscenity laws through his Attorney General, cracking down on the illegal distribution of hard-core porn. This was enough for CNN to blare the headline "War on Pornography" three times in one day and bring the matter up for discussion with political panels. More hype and discredit from the same media that won't give Paul face time. Of course you know Rick is big on family and values, this is from his site - http://www.ricksantorum.com/enforcing-laws-against-illegal-pornography .

For what it's worth, I've always enjoyed being in your store and have always been treated respectfully.

Paul ended February with about $1.37 million in his campaign account — a pittance for a political campaign competing nationally. Federal records show Endorse Liberty hasn’t made an independent expenditure on behalf of Paul since March 6, while super PACs supporting Romney, Santorum and Gingrich together have spent millions during that time. Read more: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0312/74124.html#ixzz1pQAvBLx6 What's the deal? The inside word? I know there's a lot of support for ole Dr. No but Rick's wanting Newt to back out and bring it down to a two man race, no mention of Paul. Paul hasn't won one state and it appears his "grassroots" effort can't develop the votes at the poll. Looks rather sad considering all the enthusiasm his supporters have for him. Isn't it time for him to drop out? Ruin it for the rest of us by going third party? Time for his supporters to donate more money? Is all he lacks is media attention? Wot's the deal? How about a cabinet position as Federal Reserve Security? Got to love the photo though.

Question about the Sandra Fluke; Rush Limbaugh bru-ha-ha...
kieefer replied to gregintenn's topic in General Chat
BTW, the local State run Public Health Centers have all the free condoms you want and probably some local schools would too including the colleges. Miss Fluke should just ask around, I never had a problem of finding a condom when I needed one, heck most of the girls had them anyway. -
Question about the Sandra Fluke; Rush Limbaugh bru-ha-ha...
kieefer replied to gregintenn's topic in General Chat
Something else to add. If you saw the ABC debate where this started George Stephanopoulos asked the question out of the blue to Mitt about birth control. He insisited on an answer. This was the beginning of the setup involving Fluke the activist slut against the Republican party. Some pundits are saying that allowing free BC would be the first step towards paid abortions, after all, it's all about women's health care...wink...nod. What has gone on behind this diversion is anyones guess. -
That's what I'm saying, cut the leeches off after the 2nd generation, sorry, time to get a productive life.
-
Somehow if the government teet could be cut off for the 2nd generation of welfare babies we could slowly cut the abuse. After all the gov. has fed, schooled, provided housing and basically raised them so why shouldn't they contribute to society? Dreaming I know, how could the gov. come to that conclusion? When the gov goes broke, we'll see where their priorities are.
-
What pisses me off more is that there is not a chance in hell that anything will be done to stop the fraud and abuse. All we can do is complain and pay attention to who we vote for in office, locally and nationally.

Wish they would have showed the target but neat anyway.

So, are you using someone's program or just eating sensibly and will power? Counting calories and fat? Cutting the ice creme before bed? High protein low carb? Veggie style? Fruity style? Good luck in meeting your goal. Oh yea, and where are you getting these poppers? Arby's no longer have theirs on the menu .

Yes, afraid so.
