Everybody tells me how important it is to vote....
kieefer replied to gregintenn's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
There's a lot more common sense people paying attention these days I think. So when the hate speech from the left occurs, most down to earth folks are going to blow it off, they know what's happening. Those that don't hear it, notice it through the economy. And now for a feel good moment, the Buffet Rule was voted down tonight. +1 for the "right"side. -

Speaking of asses, polls are like asses, everyone has one. I guess you know that we can't put much faith in polls. Find the poll that favors your wanted overcome and stick with that one. http://www.realclear....com/?state=nwa This will be the most hateful, divisive election season that we will most likely ever see. Polls will no doubt be a part of the division but I think the quite majority will win in the end. It also doesn't matter what the Republicans say, their words will be twisted and we'll have another war on something regardless. poll this; http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/president-obama-mitt-romney-a-tight-statistical-battle-gallup-article-1.1062583 . -
Best of luck Nashville Armory. Look forward to visiting.

From a chain email I got that you may have seen already; There are actually two messages here. The first is very interesting, but the second is absolutely astounding - and explains a lot. A recent "Investor's Business Daily" article provided very interesting statistics from a survey by the United Nations International Health Organization. Percentage of men and women who survived a cancer five years after diagnosis: U.S. 65% England 46% Canada 42% Percentage of patients diagnosed with diabetes who received treatment within six months: U.S. 93% England 15% Canada 43% Percentage of seniors needing hip replacement who received it within six months: U.S. 90% England 15% Canada 43% Percentage referred to a medical specialist who see one within one month: U.S. 77% England 40% Canada 43% Number of MRI scanners (a prime diagnostic tool) per million people: U.S. 71 England 14 Canada 18 Percentage of seniors (65+), with low income, who say they are in "excellent health": U.S. 12% England 2% Canada 6% And now for the last statistic: National Health Insurance? U.S. NO England YES Canada YES Check this last set of statistics!! The percentage of each past president's cabinet who had worked in the private business sector prior to their appointment to the cabinet. You know what the private business sector is a real-life business, not a government job. Here are the percentages. T. Roosevelt.................... 38% Taft.................................. 40% Wilson ........................... 52% Harding........................... 49% Coolidge......................... 48% Hoover............................ 42% F. Roosevelt................... 50% Truman........................... 50% Eisenhower................ .... 57% Kennedy......................... 30% Johnson.......................... 47% Nixon.............................. 53% Ford................................ 42% Carter............................. 32% Reagan........................... 56% GH Bush......................... 51% Clinton .......................... 39% GW Bush........................ 55% Obama..................... 8% This helps to explain the incompetence of this administration: only 8% of them have ever worked in private business! That's right! Only eight percent---the least, by far, of the last 19 presidents! And these people are trying to tell our big corporations how to run their business? How can the president of a major nation and society, the one with the most successful economic system in world history, stand and talk about business when he's never worked for one? Or about jobs when he has never really had one? And when it's the same for 92% of his senior staff and closest advisers? They've spent most of their time in academia, government and/or non-profit jobs or as "community organizers." They should have been in an employment line. Pass this on because we'll NEVER see these facts in the main stream media.

That sounds like an BHO second term...
-
My first thought was that he's catering to the crowd, telling his audience what they want to hear. My second thought is, o-well, ABO.

You obviously have good taste and skills with a camera. Very nice.

I thought of this thread today. I got a package coming from Utah and it was sent to Memphis USPS and arrived on 4/10, 2:06pm and turned over to USPS to complete apparently. USPS sends it to Mississippi on the 12th, today it came back to Hermitage and "in transit" at 11:45am. My mail usually gets here around 2pm but I suspect it didn't get on the truck this morning since I don't have it. Also this note was added - "Arrived at local Post Office - Allow one to two additional days for delivery" Saw two FedEx trucks today on my street. Guess I'll see it next week sometime.

Expected. war on women, war on gun owners, war on the wealthy, all the same BS from the left.

Glad to hear that he sees a difference between BHO and Romoney and that WE need to change the regime. Too bad that he will probably not endorse him.

What about the Browning or S&W's (22A or 41) durability? Backtrack, I can see the 22A being out of the question with the plastic buffer an all so forget that one.

New from Ruger but probably not up your alley. http://www.ruger.com/products/2245Lite/models.html

Sounds like you talked to a assembly operator rather than an engineer. Call again late on Friday afternoon, all the real engineers work late on fridays and you might get some intelligent answers.
-
Wrong, yes it will make a difference. Many threads on the importance of this coming election and if someone can't understand the differences between BHO and Mitt then it's just that, a lack of understanding. Sorry, no offense.

When I heard this I was wondering why would the IRS need funding for obameocare? Fines and penalties come to mind. This man is evil, communist to his core. I hope our Supreme Court makes the correct decision.

Maybe future elections will be a little more encouraging. -
Well, there's always Ron Paul! According to some of his supporters he's winning anyway due to the coverup, fraud, media dissing and such going on.

really doesn't matter now.

Does anyone carry "small of the back" ?
kieefer replied to Will Carry's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
My son does and he's always pulling it out when he gets in the car. I started using a ankle holster with my P238 and love it. -
Consider all the attack ads he rans against Newt and Rick he may be up to the fight. Also if "the party" gets behind him maybe spend just as many slanderous ads as BHO will against him. The big issue will be the comparision between ro-care and ob-care but hopefully the SC will take that off the table. And like you said above, if he's surrounded with conservative thinkers he'll conform to them, I hope, just never know with flip-floppers. Now if he'll just pick a strong VP. I'm also sad to see Rick back out but I think it may be for the best, Romoney's got the cash to beat him down and now he can use it against oblameo.

O'keefe gets Holder's Ballot in DC Primary
kieefer replied to MattCary's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I found this to be hilarious too. It's unfortunate on many levels especially since it's only going to be conservative media that will get this story out.
