Well I've been pretty lucky with the candidates that I donate to. My money is on Karen and I hope a few from TN could also show their support. -

Maybe CNN or MSNBC will pick her up when she looses. -

Breaking: Paul Ryan chosen as Romney VP
kieefer replied to plank white's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I could post a youtube video to try and convince some folks but the bottom line is that we MUST get this fool out of office and this pair of "R's" is our only chance. Besides, the donks have been working for 4yrs compiling piles of trash on any candidate(s) we pick, so I say suck it up but don't give up. -
damn, and I thought I had the official Ronmey VP Choice thread. To top it off plank could care less about it, he's pulling the lever for BHO/GJ. .

Breaking: Paul Ryan chosen as Romney VP
kieefer replied to plank white's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Actually both, he's a big health nut and has an economics degree. Agree, young, smart and knows what the country needs and how to convey it. Yes, well almost, in 8 yrs. and won't have to worry about Mitt. All hell is going to break loose from the donks of the left. They've already started at moveon.org, Media Matters and Madkow on MSNBC is upset that the intro was done on the USS Wisconsin of all things. Yep, expect more lies from the left who has nothing but lies to run on. I'm going to tune it all out and be happy on Nov. 6th. and I won't be holding my nose. Same here! I'm almost ecstatic. Now....we need to fill the House and Senate with more like Paul and shove a few things down someone's else's throat. . -
No doubt that you've heard, Paul Ryan is the Man. Excellent choice in my opinion. Makes living with Romney a whole lot better.

Conservative Group Launches “Dump Romney Campaign
kieefer replied to plank white's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
A bit late to be taking a stand but they're welcome to drop a turd in the punchbowl. Sorry, Romney's it, if they have any sense, they'll just have to get over it. Or do a protest vote for a 3rd party candidate and let Obaloney have their vote. -
Recent campaign Ad from Obama is a lie.
kieefer replied to kieefer's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
That's the main reason I posted it. I may be preaching to the choir here but maybe someone will forward it to someone who is basically clueless. -
Recent campaign Ad from Obama is a lie.
kieefer replied to kieefer's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Once again, this is the same type of slanderous ads he's used against his opponents during his senate run. OH but his hands are clean thanks to his PAC. I don't doubt for a minute that he isn't aware of what "HIS" PAC puts out. IF he had any credibility he would denounce the ad or have is minions denounce them but he doesn't. You don't hear any of them putting a muzzle on Reid and Pelosi stupid statements do you? Same rule from the liberal playbook, repeat a lie long enough or even just once and there will be some fricking idiots who believe it. http://weaselzippers.us/2012/08/08/obama-campaign-press-secretary-repeatedly-refuses-to-disavow-cancer-ad/ . -
BHO will attempt to use anything he can to smear his opponent in order to win. He's done it before.
-
As if many don't know this but Obaloney is a bold face lair, reason enough to replace him. He will be using the same sewer level tactics he use to win his Senate seat.

Don't think that Petraeus is near the top of the list, not much there except his military experience.

Republicans or Democrats: Who's to blame?
kieefer replied to TripleDigitRide's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Some may have seen this chain email and I have no idea if it's true but it does have some good solutions to the problems. Warren Buffett, in a recent interview with CNBC, offers one of the best quotes about the debt ceiling: "I could end the deficit in 5 minutes," he told CNBC. "You just pass a law that says that anytime there is a deficit of more than 3% of GDP, all sitting members of Congress are ineligible for re-election. The 26th amendment (granting the right to vote for 18 year-olds) took only 3 months & 8 days to be ratified! Why? Simple! The people demanded it. That was in 1971 - before computers, e-mail, cell phones, etc. Of the 27 amendments to the Constitution, seven (7) took one (1) year or less to become the law of the land - all because of public pressure. Warren Buffet is asking each addressee to forward this email to a minimum of twenty people on their address list; in turn ask each of those to do likewise. In three days, most people in The United States of America will have the message. This is one idea that really should be passed around. Congressional Reform Act of 2012 1. No Tenure / No Pension. 2. A Congressman/woman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they're out of office. 3. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security. 4. All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose. 5. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do. 6. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise.Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%. 7. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people. 8. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people. 9. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void effective 12/1/12. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen/women. Congress made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work. If each person contacts a minimum of twenty people then it will only take three days for most people (in the U.S. ) to receive the message. Don't you think it's time? THIS IS HOW YOU FIX CONGRESS! (I'm guessing Hell will freeze over when this happens.) -
Republicans or Democrats: Who's to blame?
kieefer replied to TripleDigitRide's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Neither. As said, it's actually Congress that steers us into drowning debt and regulation but an encouraging President no doubt makes it worse. Sad thing is that it's the same problems that we've had for years, all the way back to FDR. Seems to be a continuing cycle. Bottom line is that it's OUR FAULT. WE put these crooks and lairs in office thinking they have our best interest in hand and maybe they would IF they relied on the Constitution. -
Local government at that, you'd think they would welcome any business that would generate revenue.

I've never seen such a huge crowd at the Hermitage Chik-Filet. This was at 6pm, people were lined up in cars and parking at Home Depot and walking over. If this is any sign of the disgust with the liberal agenda, the silent majority will be putting Romney in the WH.
