  1.   Same here....  ...and figured as much.   Really never cared for his comedy or movies anyway. Just another liberal wanting to destroy America and getting his fix for attention.
  2. Is this not it in a nutshell? :koolaid: Credit goes to - https://twitter.com/SaintRPh/status/315979760478072834
  3.   That's exactly what I was thinking.    Show-boating is all he's good for......and spending OUR and his wife's money.
  4.   Have you seen all the photos of the King with is feet up on the priceless antique furniture in the White House? (Bush was criticized for this when he was in office). Yet another example of the left's hypocrisy and the complete lack of respect this fool has for the office.
  5. Seems like I remember the left was always complaining about how we were being viewed by the world when G.W. Bush was in office. I don't expect this would change anything considering how hypocritical the left is in general but it just sickening that we have such a dictatorial clown in office.
  6. that he is a complete idiot.   http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/nilegardiner/100208464/barack-obamas-arafat-blunder-is-an-embarrassment-for-the-leader-of-the-free-world/   It is simply astonishing that the leader of the free world would agree to speak against a backdrop of a murderous terrorist with American and Israeli blood on his hands. What kind of message does this send to America’s enemies when the president of the United States gives a press conference standing in front of a banner celebrating one of the most brutal terrorists in history? It projects a clear signal that Washington is weak in the face of terrorism, and it is an insult to the memory of those who died at the hands of Arafat’s terror network.   http://weaselzippers.us/2013/03/21/pic-obama-speaks-under-giant-banner-depicting-the-godfather-of-palestinian-terrorism-yasser-arafat/   oh well, life goes on.  :waiting:  :censored:   :waiting:       .
  7.  sorry man, I'm sure I looked at one at the Greenbriar store on Thursday, must have sold.... :stunned:
  8. Saw a both the full size and the compact at Gun's and Leather, call them and get your best price.
  9. Can't decide which is worse, a study on a duck penis or why lesbians are more prone to be drunks.   I guess the lesbian study would be since $2.7 million is being wasted rather than $400K.  :waiting:   http://cnsnews.com/news/article/27m-federal-study-why-do-lesbians-have-higher-risk-hazardous-drinking
  10. Never cared much for Norris. I bet he didn't use a pocket knife when he shaved like Jack Bauer does.
  11. Don't small furry critters like those Souls? That's could be a plus?
  12. OK, may have over-reacted a bit but I like to look at all the options, and still need to.   So, we got it home on a tow-dolly just to be safe as mentioned. I passed on the compression test since the plugs looked great and it runs so well and its not blowing oil like I assumed.   We've always had a leaking oil pan and we've had a gasket in the trunk for one of these days, that day came Sat.   You have to or because it's easier to remove the oil pan IF a section of the exhaust pipe comes out so what did I find when I pulled the pipe off, an exhaust leak. This was some of the noise down low.   With the pan now removed the inside of it was so clean to have 190K miles on it I was pleasantly surprised, no sludge or foreign objects in the bottom either.  Now with the pan off I'm inspecting the crank, rods and cylinder walls for any scoring, any unusual amount of slack in the rods, anything obvious, nothing found.   Buttoned it up with new gaskets all around. It sounds better as far as loudness but it still sounds like maybe a loose valve when you rev it up, maybe harder than that. Very quite at idle, almost a knock when revs get up. Still, no miss and there is very little blue smoke and only when you punch it.   Next project is to check the valve clearance but I did a feel test and all of them feel about the same gap, none more loose that another. Also the noise is on the distributor side, which is a new one.    I'm going to drive it this week and keep a check on the oil but I'm almost at the point to ignore it and see what happens.
  13. +1 on a Honda despite the issues I'm having with mine that has 190K on it.
  14.  My SR9 has a few mods including the http://www.ghostinc.com/c=FYrtwh9XFL3Wk8I9VI5riE9x0/category/ruger_sr__rocket__tactical_and_all_other_connectors_installation_instructions/Ghost Trigger so the Compact trigger pull felt heavier in comparison but I never gauged it. I suspect they are the same parts inside only frame size being different but I could be wrong.   I did have a little trouble fitting the trigger bar reset but the designer worked with me until we got it, great fellow and a pleasure to work with. All the issues with the early SR9's should be worked out by now and this would be a slick trick to add to whichever one you get.   So, if you're worried about trigger pull on either pistol, there's a fix for that.      .
  15. No, I wondered why no one mentioned it. Just a little larger. I've got one and love it, also had the compact for awhile but let it go. Good luck in your search.

    IRS visit

At the end of the tax year, the IRS office sent an inspector to audit the books of a local hospital. While the IRS agent was checking the books, he turned to the CFO of the hospital and said, I notice you buy a lot of bandages.  What do you do with the end of the roll when there's too little left to be of any use?"   "Good question," noted the CFO. "We save them up and send them back to the bandage company and every once in a while, they send us a free roll." "Oh," replied the auditor, somewhat disappointed that his unusual question had a practical answer.  But on he went, in his obnoxious way.   "What about all these plaster purchases?  What do you do with what's left over after setting a cast on a patient?"   "Ah, yes," replied the CFO, realizing that the inspector was trying to trap him with an unanswerable question. "We save it and send it back to the manufacturer and every so often they will send us a free bag of plaster." "I see," replied the auditor, thinking hard about how he could fluster the know-it-all CFO.   "Well," he went on, "What do you do with all the remains from the circumcision surgeries?" "Here, too, we do not waste," answered the CFO. "We save all the little foreskins and send them to the IRS office, and about once a year they send us a complete prick."     (No offense to any IRS auditors out there  :D )
  17. How about a little more of Rand Paul??   http://youtu.be/d3sSgGU2LSQ
  18.   Ok, think about it, is there any democratic liberal women that are attractive?  :shake:   I believe it's part of the reason why they vomit so many lies and mis-truths, it's their dying need to gain some from of attention because all these hags that I've seen could turn Medusa into stone.   Di-fi reminds me of a old teacher I had that hated everything anyone did, smelled and you cringed when she raised her voice, which was often. Personally, the ugliest women that came to mind for me was DebbieWasserrmanShultzs, now that human is ugly.   On a happier note, Ted Cruz is awesome.  :usa: More Republicans need to learn from this fellow.    This from the WeaselZippers blogger; In one corner we have Ted Cruz, a brilliant Harvard educated Constitutional lawyer who has authored more than 80 Supreme Court briefs and presented more than 40 oral arguments, including nine before the Supreme Court itself, he also served as law clerk for Supreme Court Justice William Rehnquist. In the other we have Dianne Feinstein, who has been in the Senate for decades and could fit her knowledge of the Constitution on the tip of a pin.
  19. Well, it was (the sequester) designed to make people hurt, sorry your step-son was part of king  :poop: nothing's agenda. Everyone should be pissed that our military is affected at all, especially when it comes to benefits.   There is so much waste in government programs that there is no need to punish our service members and veterans. Just do a search on "gov. waste" and see what's out there, it's sickening. This so-called sequester that the king approved and orchestrated is nothing in terms of really cutting a budget. :bs:     Krauthammer said it best,   In terms of the gross domestic product of our economy this is .03, it's a third of 1% of our domestic economy. On the domestic side, overall, it's 2.5 cents on the dollar. And overall, on the non-defense side, it's a penny-and-a-half on the dollar of reductions. Here we are with a debt of $16 trillion and the argument today is if we cut a penny-and-a-half on non-defense spending in one year it's the end of the world. If so, we are hopelessly in debt and we're going to end up like Greece.   So what do we have, we have a lying king going out on the campaign trail to spew fear and lies.    IT'S TYRANNY FOLKS!! FROM A DUMBASS DICTATOR....DAMMIT...  :censored:
  20. I don't care either way because I don't drink but I do like the open market and competition.  I do suspect that theft will be on the rise with the easier access.
  21. From what I've been told these JDM motors come out of Japan with 50K + - miles on them, something about Japans regulations on emissions, (surprise, surprise) and they have to replace these motors with new ones.
  22. Bass Pro has the Taurus M709 on sale between now and the 31st for $349.99.  Can't go wrong with that one.
  23.                               No spam in my box either, maybe the NRA is not the source of your spam? Or maybe you need to log on and opt-out?  :)
  24. Japanese Domestic Market
  25. We went to get it today, rented a tow dolly to bring it home just to be safe.   Spent some time with it this afternoon, having second thoughts about the seriousness, doesn't appear as bad as I was lead to believe.   It still makes a noise but I unloaded it off the dolly about 2 miles from the house and followed it home, did blow out oil like it would have a cracked ring or oil blowing past the rings. Drove it about ten miles later and the power is fine, just makes a racket.  Pulled the plugs and all of them have a nice golden tan color like the mixture is perfect. Rotated the motor and watched the valve train move without anything unusual.   Got to work the next two days but intend to do a compression test for starters.   The noise now sounds lower and on the clutch side, not so much in the valve train like I originally thought.
