  2. I wonder how one could melt down small used bars of soap and pour a mold to make a larger bar?
  3.   What about the Gun Room in Lebanon?   Gun City was also a dump after they quit selling guns.       (Ditto, coopracing, what's the chances to posting the same thought at the same time?  )
  4. http://www.dontfundobamacare.com/ I see you have already signed it but maybe a few others will also see it. Might as well send it to everyone in your address book too. Some will poo-poo the idea but its something to show our dislike and concern along with the phone calls and emails. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
  5. Yea, I have and it's a nice product. He also may have 2nds at a discount and was a real pleasure to do a return/swap. I'd recommend him. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk

  7. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2013-08-01/guest-post-10-reasons-why-obamacare-going-ruin-your-medical-care-and-your-life     Here are the ten most important points that I tell my patients: Your private insurance premiums will cost more and more each year. You will lose the choices and flexibility in health insurance policies that we have had available up until now. As reimbursements continue to drop, fewer and fewer doctors will take Medicare (for those 65 and older) or Medicaid (people younger than 65). Fewer doctors accepting Medicare and Medicaid causes an increase in wait times for appointments and a decrease in the numbers and types of specialists available on these plans. Consumers would be wise to line up their doctors now. Studies from various organizations and states have consistently shown thatMedicaid recipients have longer waits for medical care, fewer options for specialists, poorer medical outcomes, and die sooner after surgeries than people with no health insurance at all. Yet an increasing number of Americans will be forced into this second-class medical care. As more people enter the taxpayer-funded plans (Medicare and Medicaid) instead of paying for private insurance, the costs to provide this increased medical care and medications will escalate, leading to higher taxes. With no eligibility verifications in place, millions of people who are in the US illegally will be able to access taxpayer-funded medical services, making longer lines, longer wait times, and less money available for medical care for American citizens… unless taxes are increased even more. Higher expenditures to provide medical services lead to rationing of medical care and treatment options to reduce costs. This is the mandated function of the Independent Payment Advisory Board: to cut costs by deciding which types of medical services to allow… or disallow. Under current regulations, if medical care is denied by Medicare, then a patient is not allowed to pay cash to a Medicare-contracted physician or hospital or other health professional. Patients who need medical care that is denied under Medicare or Medicaid will find themselves having to either: 1) look for an independent physician or hospital (quite rare these days); or 2) go outside the USA for treatment. Expect a loss of medical privacy. Beginning in 2014, if you participate in government health insurance, your health records will be sent to a centralized federal database, with or without your consent.
  8. Just a simple poll, if you don't care nothing about it, why complain?   Whatever.
  9. Wife just told me about a couple coming 6 days from Alaska to see it. Go figure.
  10. Since you bothered to open the thread did you bother to sign the petition? If not, why bother.
  11. My first real job was putting new bikes together at Howard's Honda. I enjoyed seeing the results of my work and was pretty much left alone. Young and dumb I and got fired for being late and hung over too often.  :stick:
  12. I'd say one great speech after each golf came until Nov. 2016 should do it.
  13. Also keep in mind the suspension upgrades, I think by Traxxion, made to his GW. No way he could preform within his limits when limited to the stock suspension.    That would be my first mod especially to a GW. And if I had a GW I would go with Traxxion then to http://www.mblinnovations.com/        .
  14. Right, backup to the bike, push with the legs. Hopefully you'll be on a firm slip free surface. Good luck with whatever you decide on.
  15. always enjoy your sense of optimism.  :waiting:
  16.   I was thinking about the Fairness doctrine today after hearing kingNothing blaming Bush for the millionth time down in Chattanooga. Wouldn't it be great if politicians had to follow this doctrine, once Eldumbo finishes lying equal time has to be given to his opposition. Big question is who would that be?    Air America was the last talk show I've heard about failing, I'm guessing hatred, lying, Al Franken and Rachel Maddcow was to blame? Likewise, MSNBC always scrapes the barrel in cable news ratings.
  17. Good stuff to think about    On a brighter note you may get a pass on a speeding ticket  :woohoo:   http://www.tmz.com/2013/07/31/george-zimmerman-speeding-traffic-stop-gun-firearm-texas/
  18. I'm not much of a cruiser guy but I do like the Victory Cross Tour. Currently I ride an FJR for everything, touring included. IMO a cruiser for touring wouldn't be my choice, you are already limited on cornering clearance and if you load it down and double on it then you'd decrease that, unless you upgrade the suspension. Many do tour on them though and if so my choice would be the GW. Good buys out there on used ones GW's too.   Now, since you are now getting back on bikes and big heavy bike, including the GW or just about any cruiser may become imtiminating. Don't know your age, height and weight but it's going to be a bicth if you tip over a 600lb + bike while you're reviving that learning skill.  :-\   But, if your committed to a pig of the bike (including my FJR) you might consider an older GW and a smaller summer bike like a 650 V-Strom, NC700 or a K75 (which are steals today). For the price of a new bike you could have two but that may not go over well with SWMBO. Either way, make sure you get a back rest for whatever you buy.  :D
  19. We need more stories like this along with her corrupt history popping up on the screen on a monthly basis and daily when approaching 2016.  :stir:
  20. This really shows how stupid the people of the CBC are and some folks in TX. Sign of the times I suppose.         .
  21.   I'm also on the wire but his support for Lamar is not encouraging, maybe he knows a replacement may be worse but you can bet Lamar will be using Rand for all he's worth to get re-elected.   http://www.timesfreepress.com/news/2013/jul/30/rand-paul-says-very-supportive-alexander/?news   +1 for Ted Cruz.
  22. Might as well email it to everyone in your address book while you're at it. Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
  23. http://www.dontfundobamacare.com/   This is the petition Sen. Ted Cruz recently commented on in the WT, I'm skeptical whether they make much difference but I'd signed it and wanted to pass it on.   http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/jul/27/sen-cruz-defund-obamacare-americans-become-addicte/
