Government is being run by idiots, that's all that can be said. Sit back and watch or call your Reps daily and bicth about it. Frankly I'm getting tired of doing that and what's worse, they know it. “We’re not sure we can chew gum, let alone walk and chew gum, so let’s just chew gum for a while,†Rep. Tom Cole (R-Okla) today discussing Immigration reform. TheHill.com .

Gun Safe Stolen in Cheatham County- Beware a Cheap Safe

1510AM had a short blurb last week in their news minutes. I wonder if it might have been someone on here? +1 Safe House for bringing this up  -
What you figure, $12-$16K? I'd rather have the new FJR and I've owned several BMW's. It's different but I don't care for it.

Whoa, there.. you sure about that? :bat: :(

I don't think anyone is real serious here but given a choice, the point being we could do a lot worse. We also wouldn't have to worry about his vote on the 2nd if Ted was in office. The detroit-crats will attempt to destroy anyone that is a threat to them. The way I see it is to give them so many choices that maybe one Patriot will slip by and that would be one more that's badly needed on our side.

Arnold Schwarzanegger wants Americans to pass a Constitutional Amendment making it possible for a foreign-born person to become President. He should just change parties, because it's already legal for Democrats.* *(clever remark found on http://directorblue.blogspot.com/ )

Rather have a Ted, the Nuge or the Cruz over the RINO-poor-acting-washed-up-muscleman.

I've noticed the migration for years. I could see carcasses move closer to Nashville each year that I ride the Natchez Trace Prkwy. Recently saw one legs up at I40 east and Stewarts Ferry pike exit.

I'd rather have the motor-city-madman over any rino or democrat in office today.

http://detroit.cbslocal.com/2013/10/14/ted-nugent-cut-his-hair/ He even has a slogan picked out: "Hi, I’m Ted Nugent. I have nine children from seven women, and I’m running for president.†Might as well crash the poll

How has or will the government shutdown affected you

The Impeachment process is a fart in the wind. It's depressing to see the republicans not standing together. Everyone just wants to get along no matter how deep they dig the hole. Only a few have the balls to put-up a fight and are slandered when they do. There are just too many that need to be replaced on both sides, otherwise we will get the same of crap sandwich every time. I sure hope a difference is made in 2014 and 2016, otherwise after 8 yrs of obama we may not be able to. -
Joe Biden recommends a shotgun so it must be a good idea. :D Ran across the video on the .22.... for your entertainment. http://youtu.be/OUM1r_444CY

May have been mentioned before and may not be news to anyone but the King is a hypocrite. I also think he said something about it being "unpatriotic" to raise the debt ceiling. So this is tied to the battle of the gov-shutdown and thought maybe some of you could pass this along to your left-leaning friends. :D "The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that, 'the buck stops here.' Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better." ~ Senator Barack H. Obama, March 2006 Yea, we definitely could have done better, maybe in 2016? :usa: -
Thug down: motorcycle thief turns into a real-world ballistics test dummy

Our days are numbered either way. A fellow rider and Iron Butt master, John Ryan was killed today. Off topic but I met him once at a rally and we spoke for quite awhile and own the same bike. Saddens me to hear this and knowing that he was a very experienced rider. http://www.lehighvalleylive.com/warren-county/express-times/index.ssf/2013/10/fatal_crash_involving_motorcyc.html http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/608/3739/Motorcycle-Article/Yamaha-FJR-Sets-Continent-Crossing-Record.aspx I've never intentionally pissed off a cage driver off or had one get aggressive with me. I ride very defensively but way too fast for my own good. I stay clear of traffic and areas of congestion as much as I can. I never imagined that some punk could attempt stealing the bike that I'm riding, once again I would try not to put myself in that predicament. I could see someone coming up to me while filling my bike up at a gas station and robbing me though, that would be a good time to have my carry weapon on me. -

Was that a cop that stepped in and took the punk out? I couldn't tell. I usually don't carry on my bike but that makes a good case to. -
Cocked and locked as designed, a very nice shooter and very compact.

+1, those that best survived the Depression had the available cash to do so. ;) -
Ran across this on another site, thought you might get a kick out of. :D For those that don't know about history ... Here is a condensed version: Humans originally existed as members of small bands of nomadic hunters/gatherers. They lived on deer in the mountains during the summer and would go to the coast and live on fish and lobster in the winter. The two most important events in all of history were the invention of beer and the invention of the wheel. The wheel was invented to get man to the beer. These were the foundation of modern civilization and together were the catalyst for the splitting of humanity into two distinct subgroups: 1 . Liberals 2. Conservatives. Once beer was discovered, it required grain and that was the beginning of agriculture. Neither the glass bottle nor aluminum can were invented yet, so while our early humans were sitting around waiting for them to be invented, they just stayed close to the brewery. That's how villages were formed. Some men spent their days tracking and killing animals to BBQ at night while they were drinking beer. This was the beginning of what is known as the Conservative movement... Other men who were weaker and less skilled at hunting learned to live off the conservatives by showing up for the nightly BBQ's and doing the sewing, fetching, and hair dressing. This was the beginning of the Liberal movement. Some of these liberal men eventually evolved into women. They became known as girlie-men. Some noteworthy liberal achievements include the domestication of cats, the invention of group therapy, group hugs, and the concept of Democratic voting to decide how to divide the meat and beer that conservatives provided. Over the years conservatives came to be symbolized by the largest, most powerful land animal on earth, the elephant. Liberals are symbolized by the jackass for obvious reasons. Modern liberals like imported beer (with lime added), but most prefer white wine or imported bottled water. They eat raw fish but like their beef well done. Sushi, tofu, and French food are standard liberal fare.. Another interesting evolutionary side note: most of their women have higher testosterone levels than their men. Most social workers, personal injury attorneys, journalists, dreamers in Hollywood and group therapists are liberals. Liberals invented the designated hitter rule because it wasn't fair to make the pitcher also bat. Conservatives drink domestic beer, mostly Bud or Miller. They eat red meat and still provide for their women. Conservatives are big game hunters, rodeo cowboys, lumberjacks, construction workers, firemen, medical doctors, police officers, engineers, corporate executives, athletes, members of the military, airline pilots and generally anyone who works productively. Conservatives who own companies hire other conservatives who want to work for a living. Liberals produce little or nothing. They like to govern the producers and decide what to do with the production. Liberals believe Europeans are more enlightened than Americans. That is why most of the liberals remained in Europe when conservatives were coming to America . They crept in after the Wild West was tamed and created a business of trying to get more for nothing. Scumbags.

No big deal to me. It's designed to piss off the conservative/opposing side of the subgroups and it makes no sense at all on why our Veterans and Military should be affected at all. Or National Parks for that matter, surely this cost is a small fraction of what they waste. I read somewhere that 93% of the EPA is "non-essential", bet the same is true for the IRS and any number of government agencies. It's all for show and political games. The first thing to cut should be the salaries of all the dickheads responsible and the last thing should be our Military. -
Shutdown Good for ObamaCare So Far
kieefer replied to Oh Shoot's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Speaking of polls, at a recent 3 day event sponsored by the Family Research Council, Mr Cruz was their favorite in a straw poll. Hildebeast was last ( which is pretty irrelevant since mostly conservatives were there voting). http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2013/oct/12/cruz-crushes-field-presidential-straw-poll-values-/ https://twitter.com/mikememoli/status/389117120660774912/photo/1 -
HA! Got the same letter, just when I thought I pissed him off since telling him I'm voting for Joe Carr in my last response. Too funny.
