  1. Seems like Lebanon Gun Shop had a special last year because I took advantage of it. A new SR22 with an OTD price.   Something may show up the first of next week...?
  2. Todays Senate Republicans will never do that, they are sitting there with their thumbs up there butts wondering what to do next. They don't have any spines either otherwise every last one of them would be calling Dingy Reid out.
  3. Exactly.    Some folks couldn't stomach Romney so we shouldn't be surprised by anything that comes out of this administration.   All those folks that were sitting at home in 2012 are still just as disgusted, nothing will change accept for the worse.
  4.   Funny you should mention that, I was doing some homework last night at work.   http://www.6mmbr.com/parallax.html   http://www.rimfirebenchrest.com/articles/parallax.html   .
  5. Saw an advertisement for a new war movie, "Battle Ground". Just added to my list to see.   http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2186783/?ref_=nv_sr_5
  6. I saw another good flick the other night, The Iceman, gangsta related and based on true events.      That Dhoom fellow looks as badass as 007, Ethan Hunt and Claud Van Dam wrapped into one.        :stick:         .

    Ruger SR 45

Good cleaning as in pulling the striker pin? I would do that, I've had 3 SR's and each of them had metal shavings. Might as well do a hone and polish while you're there.   Let's us know how it shot.
  8. [quote name="hipower" post="1065122" timestamp="1384729726"]Jason Statham is the Boss!! I'll even watch some of the movies where he has hair. Redeption was awesome. Some of the best acting he's done. Oblivion was kinda cool. A little transparent though. Didn't take long to see where it was headed. Watched man of Steel last night. Fair. I'm still undecided about it overall though. But sure beat the heck out of the last Superman installment.[/quote Kinda like to find Lock, Stock and Two Barrels, Jason's first movie ? Might be a CD Warehouse search?
  9. Thought it should have been titled Godzilla meets Transformers.   Spring for "Redemption" with Jason Statham instead.   Some others I've watched lately.   Gangster Squad is OK, pretty predicable. (hated to waste the dollar on SeanPenn though) Oblivion, I liked it if you can stomach Tom Cruise. Cloud Atlas, liked this one too especially the second time around. (caution-gay scenes may make your beer come up) Dead Man Down beats them all.   BTW, I can be entertained pretty easily.   Prometheus is pretty cool flick too.     .
  10. I've had a few experiences with customer-ignorance at Academy Sports before too but also see it in a lot of other places. I also do as you did and complain to the management, local and corporate. It doesn't keep me from shopping there but I'll give second thoughts to if I want to leave any money there.   But, I've always had a good experience at Firehouse Subs and after finding the free coupon below I also had a good experience at Penn Station. Neither have ammo but do have a good sandwich.  :yum:   http://www.penn-station.com/nashville/dsignupf.php?gclid=CJ6hkuqo57oCFeHm7AodmBUA5Q   So, have a free sub
  11. Col. Allen West pegs it.  :usa:     If Americans do not finally see the arrogant lawlessness of this person who no longer holds regard for the Office of the Presidency, then God help us, for He shall certainly not bless us. What more do people need to see and endure? This disgraceful era must now end. Read more at http://allenbwest.com/2013/11/breach-oath-time-impeach/#ZJTid46fUSzewiWc.99
  12. +1   I need to follow this. Got the itch again for a 10/22.
  13. Cruz on Leno;   http://www.buzzfeed.com/passantino/ted-cruz-grilled-by-jay-leno-on-the-tonight-show   first clip finishes up where he left off above. http://trailblazersblog.dallasnews.com/2013/11/sen-ted-cruz-and-jay-leno-first-peek.html/?nclick_check=1
  14. This thread is racist.       :P       Not going to happen either.
  15. I too would get a few estimates before doing it myself.   I'll also recommend blown foam insulation in your crawl space. I did this a few years ago and it's made a big difference.   I did remove all the old matt insulation myself but had a contractor blow it, install water pipe insulation and the vapor barrier. 31W Insulation had the best quote, two guys did it in about 10hrs.  No more cold feet.    Only bad part is that I screwed up my knee pulling the old stuff out, so I might as well tack-on knee surgery to the overall cost.  :waiting:
  16. “Despite being outspent by an unprecedented $15 million, this race came down to the wire because of Obamacare,”   Pretty impressive showing for Cuccinelli and yeah, sure there is no way of knowing which way Sarvis's votes would have went IF he wasn't in it.   Exit polls show a majority of voters — 53 percent — opposed the law. Among them, 81 percent voted for Cuccinelli and 8 percent voted for Libertarian candidate Robert Sarvis. McAuliffe won overwhelmingly among the 46 percent who support the health care overhaul. Read more: http://www.politico.com/story/2013/11/terry-mcauliffe-virginia-governor-2013-elections-99441.html#ixzz2juvoFXzT   Defeating obamacare is what this particular election was about, and we almost won it despite the millions from the left for McAuliffe AND no Republican funds to HELP one of their own to fight his opposition. Add to that the story of Sarvis being a democratic plant and I think conservatives did a hell of a job.
  17. Terry McAuliffe Dem. 944,473 46.9% Kenneth T. Cuccinelli II Rep. 933,006 46.4   Robert Sarvis Lib. 134,508 6.7   94% reporting   Once again, the libertarians cost us another election.   :waiting:
  18. divided like the rest of the country???? or maybe disastercare is waking some people up?       MCAULIFFE 46.71%  CUCCINELLI 46.31% 91% reporting
  19.   CUCCINELLI 46.51%  MCAULIFFE 46.48% 88% reporting
  20. Update on Ted,..... yeah I know, you've been on pins and needles  :P     Rocker Ted Nugent is still toying with the idea of running for president, he told radio station WCSX: During a recent Google Hangout session hosted by Detroit Classic Rock station WCSX, in which fans were invited to ask Uncle Ted questions, the rocker got the rumor mill turning again by addressing a potential political run. “I have threatened to run for public office because I have been prodded to do so…so it’s not off the table,” Nugent said. “At this point it would be up to Mrs. Nugent and my family. I would consult with my manager Doug Banker.  But I’m being pushed pretty hard to run for public office.” Ted then goes on to outline what could be campaign platform, discussing his qualifications and the changes he would make if he were in office. After he finishes, WCSX Program Director [Jerry Tarrants] jokes “I’m going to take that as a ‘yes’” to which Nugent responds, “That would be a ‘Sure, why not?’”
  21. Have you heard about this?     A major Democratic Party benefactor and Obama campaign bundler helped pay for professional petition circulators responsible for getting Virginia Libertarian gubernatorial candidate Robert C. Sarvis on the ballot — a move that could split conservative votes in a tight race. Campaign finance records show the Libertarian Booster PAC has made the largest independent contribution to Sarvis’ campaign, helping to pay for professional petition circulators who collected signatures necessary to get Sarvis’ name on Tuesday’s statewide ballot. Austin, Texas, software billionaire Joe Liemandt is the Libertarian Booster PAC’s major benefactor. He’s also a top bundler for President Barack Obama. This revelation comes as Virginia voters head to the polls Tuesday in an election where some observers say the third-party gubernatorial candidatecould be a spoiler for Republican Ken Cuccinelli. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/11/05/revealed-obama-campaign-bundler-helping-fund-libertarian-in-tight-va-gubernatorial-race/
  22. Cruz will be on Leno Nov. 8th. I'm curious how the audience will receive him. Probably much better than a Letterman audience would.   We all know this is the true test for any candidate  :P
  23.   Reading other blogs it looks like McAuliffe is the favorite to win. I'm hoping the tables will turn on Tues. given this is the first election since the rollout of disaster-care. If Cuccinelli does pull it off (and Sarvis doesn't take too many votes away from him) it will be a big win for conservatism.... or rather, for our side.  :)   Watching this one.
  24. Inexcusable within the private sector but sadly complacent when it comes to government programs.
  25. I think we now can confirm that we have the most corrupt administration in history. Damn libs are determined to do as they want and care less who it affects.   The lastest is now called - Handygate.   http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/world/europe/United-States-tracked-Merkels-phone-since-2002-Report/articleshow/24769467.cms
