1. My question would be why?   I agree with all the support but why stand armed? What are the chances that they will be hit again? I think it would be pretty slim.    Some nutcase muslim or anyone with a notion to could pick a theater, shopping mall, church or even play sniper out of the back of a car.    The most logical defense would have any and all military service men and women, off duty personnel or not armed if they so choose to, any place anywhere. Same for police officers and civilians for that fact.   But we can't have that can we.  :waiting:
2. Satisfied my itch and I'm sure I won't be disappointed. Thank you Ben for the deal. :usa: Couldn't pass it up. Thank you for the responses.
3. maroonandwhite :usa:  is going to hook me up with an OD Green LCP.             .
4. I'd rather stick with .380 just because I don't want to add another caliber to my stash.   I need to handle some and revisit Hickok45 for his thoughts too and generally do some shopping. I don't think I can go wrong because there's a lot on nice small pistols out there.   A used LCP would be a good bet too since I'm likely to treat it a little rough over buying a new Pico.
5. Well, I had the LC9, early model and sold and bought the P238. The Sig is really nice and I'm starting to see some wear, kinda hate that since it's such a nice pistol. +1 on finding deals on used LCP's Pico's ??? anyone tried that one?
6.   Yes, I have one and the BP9cc. I've thought about the CC model Thunder but as xjsnake mentioned....      Yep you're right. The BP9cc is closer to the LC9 and I actually like the Bersa better. The new LC9s would be worth a comparison but I really like my BP9. I'm usually have that Bersa on my hip if not a snub-nose.         .
7. I've been considering a real pocket .380 mouse gun such as in the size of the PICO and LCP ect.   I really haven't been a fan of this size except for my P238 that I usually have it in an ankle holster but in this hot weather I've been leaving it behind. I think I'd be happier with something in my back pocket or thinner and lighter on my ankle.     So, if you have opinions of each or have tried them and found one over the other to be more reliable and comfortable to carry all the time I'd like to hear.    I'm kinda favoring the Pico but read quite a few issues with early models, don't know of anyone with hands- on experiences.   Cheers  :usa:
8. They got some wicked stuff at TSC. Sterilizing the soil should take care of it. Catch any growth next spring, clip and spray again.
9.   Everything this idiot does is for political reasons. I think he deliberately avoids satisfying the right-wing of this country or as he puts it, the Bible thumping gun owners who love our military. He jumps on issues that divide this country at a minutes notice and hold backs on other issues for the sole purpose to keep "US" agitated, and it's working.   His last day in office cannot come too soon.
10. Yea, putting the WH in colored lights the day of the Supreme Court announcement of gay marriage wasn't out of the ordinary ether.
11. O-clueless has been too busy appeasing the mullahs and radical-islamist to worry about American concerns.   But aren't we glad that Kerry failed to win the presidency.  :waiting:
12. Why bother to point this out, I think everyone here knows the clown posing as president is a loser but worth a post I guess.   Just hours after four U.S. Marines were shot and killed by Islamic terrorist Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez in Chattanooga Thursday, the White House announced President Obama has plans to go see Hamilton on Broadway over the weekend.   News link here.
13. missed it by a few hours.   actually I was pretty close;   http://www.timesnews.net/article/9089735/shootings-in-chattanooga-spur-sullivan-debate-on-guns-in-courthouse   libs are so predicable.
14. I'll give it less than 12hrs before we hear the anti-gun-outlaw-automatic weapons BS from a liberal politician or news pundit.   Can't let another crisis go waste.       .
15. Someone asked, "what was Obama doing?" What is his response?   http://breaking911.com/4-marines-killed-white-house-releases-statement-wishing-muslims-a-happy-end-to-ramadan/
16. Just a matter of time. Too many incidents and lives lost to not expect the worst to come. This administration has let our guard down for too long and has shown no backbone.
17. I've had PP for a long time and was skeptical at first and as unsure as you are but it's pretty simple.   I hate credit so mine is linked to a checking backed up with a credit card. I pay out through my checking or my balance in PP from where someone else paid me. You can avoid fees by doing a gift transfer but be aware, the securities offered by PP are not supported using a gift. Just make sure you trust buyer, as in a fellow gun owner or motorcyclist.  ;)    I also have a separate email that I use for PP, not necessary but I like having it.   I also use to buy and sell on eBay and did have a few problems with a sellers, PP recovered my money and it was painless, time consuming but painless.       .
18.   Trapping season is opened the day I till my garden. Squirrels with grab a tomato or use to in my yard.   I also have blueberries and blackberries. The deer enjoy them as does the birds, I need to get a net for them one day.
19. +1   "Regrettably once an individual becomes a public figure their greatest works and accomplishments are often overshadowed or marred by past behavior."   Unless you're a Democrat.
20. My small area is similar to raised beds, boundaries are cross ties. All I got room for is 3 tomatoes two cucumber, 3 squash, strawberries, lettuce and a few herbs. My red pepper stands alone in full sun. I moved it from last year when we had one green pepper the size of a soft ball up until late Sept. then it finally turned red, also thought I got a mislabeled plant. My location this year I thought would be better. They're about the size of a tennis ball, half green half red and rotting. At least last years was eatable.   Plan to remove some flowers and expand next year. Wife's a vegan so she usually does the picking.    Of course the lettuce is for cool season and I believe I will grow this in pots next year and use the garden space for maybe catalope or something the wife chooses.
21. That's it. My purely organic finely grown compost that's rich in nutrients is too good to grow red peppers. There's a landfill close to the Stones River, I'll dig up some run off dirt and spice my garden up for next year.
22. I've been trying to grow red bell peppers and have not had much luck. Past 2 years haven't yielded much and this year looks grim. What kind of soil are yours planted in? Any tips?
23. I'm with ya, They always have to change something.
24. Yeah my millionaire aunt who owns property in NY loves his show. And yet when you talk with her about politics most of what she complains about are liberal-democratic policies, go figure.
25. West just gives it back to them with no regrets. I don't see him as an opportunist. He's calls them out because he can and knows very few white leaders will do so. I'd like to see him in the WH.
