  1. Wasn't there a Springfield at a really nice price on here....why yes there was....$550.00
  2. I voted Samoa but it's the Tagalongs that I can't stop eating, change my vote to Tagalongs. Yes, I too have eaten a whole box within.....well, until I had to open another box? The Do si Dos used to be a favorite but they changed them when they reduced the box size and I don't drink milk anymore so that rules them out. Thin Mints are like candy bars being in their own wrapper, eat a few, roll the bag, stuff in pocket......one roll in about an hour usually does it. Trefoils are good crushed with ice cream on top. The lemon ones? I'll swap for some Tagalongs, legal crack indeed.
  3. Rand Paul on Letterman
  4. Well, right now Huckabee, Romney, Grinrich and Palin are the so-called front runners and Palin will be the only candidate that the Tea Party supports. Personally I don't think Palin can win but I would like to see her 2nd in command or as Energy Secretary.......so, get the check book out and sound off for the one you support when you do find that "ideal" leader.
  5. I guess if a tattoo artist would sign their work that would solve it, huh?
  6. I think we should all go to Bill's and spend some money.
  7. Aaaah, it appears you have a problem with Bill, perhaps a dictated thread may be more "efficient" than several one liner posts? Just saying.

  12. That is exactly what happened in the last election and what we are seeing in WI. 2012 Presidential Candidates
  13. That and it was his first speech at the 2004 Democratic Convention when the media wet their pants for the first time.

I overly lube my new guns but maybe this will break-in? My SR9 could be done that way when new and it's much easier now than it was. I also read where some have complained about the stiffness of the slide on their SR9, so maybe it's production runs or break-in time? My LC9 is 184 builds after his in the vid, never know, they may have made a change, I'll keep working at it. He also had two magazines, mine only came with one. :-\ I was hoping he would mention the goodies in the "cardboard" box.

I noticed he was able to rack the slide with the release on the side. That's pretty tuff on mine, matter of fact I can't release it without pulling the slide back. Did I say the pull was overly long?? What do I know

    Cool Vid, thanks!
  17. Let's put it this way, you've won an hour long massage, one therapist is with a beautiful model and the other is an amazon woman with no teeth. Who you gonna pick? How many young voters are into image and looks today? We had Obama go up against an old man already and that alone regardless of what politics each other have was a no brainer in "today's" society of people more concerned with American Idol and Dancing with the Stars than politics. The Republican's will have to put up someone new, young and full of great ideas that will encourage both young and old voters, or we will have another 4 years of disaster.
  18. I'd be interested in how you removed the rib and cut the barrel. Nice work.
  19. Gave the SR9 a good cleaning and shot three different brands through it including the Swiss brand, no failures at all.

After shooting 300 rounds today I'm not overly impressed but satisfied. It felt a lot better than the Kel-Tec P11 I sold awhile back. The long trigger pull on the LC9 is a short coming but felt smooth enough for me and should get smoother with more rounds but it is overly long. Like what has been mentioned, I bought it for a CCW and it will do fine for that. And you never know, Ruger may have a recall if they are hearing the complaints....? I was really smooth following the LC9 with my SR9 though.

Got me one from Hunter's Paradise Gun Shop in Sparta, they were at the Murfreesboro gun show. Nice pistol, fits me well. We'll see how it shoots this week.

  24. I'll do that search along with a FTF search. I've got 3 mags, keep them full and for the first time using my SR9 I had several FTF's. I would reload them and some would fire and some wouldn't. Some were loaded 3 times and finally fired. I don't know it this is the common result but got me to thinking about the mags. I didn't mark the mags to see if one may be the cause and then thought a good cleaning on the gun may be in order? The ammo most common to FTF was a Swiss brand "Geco" and just two FTF from a Korea brand "PMC". I have shot four boxes of the Swiss brand without any problem, except a few stray ones, so a good cleaning will most likey solve it....and I think I answered my own question

    COLT WOES

That's a beautiful pistol that I've have a fever for. Glad you got it fixed, sad that Colt is letting QC slip.
