  4. bottom line, Seen at black bike week.
  5. I hope every one here is a member and if not, it's past time to join.
  6. Springs are the next trick but, if you depend on the pistol as your CCW or HD you should opt out if these mods. As a target pistol you shouldn't mind a few misfires due to a weaker springs, so I'm told by two gunsmiths.
  7. Response from Senator Bob Corker, Thank you for taking the time to contact my office to share your concerns about the nomination of Andrew Traver to be Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (BATFE). Your input is important to me and I appreciate the time you took to share your thoughts. I recognize the importance of ensuring that a highly qualified and knowledgeable individual serve as Director of BATFE, which is charged with enforcing the law against some of our country's most dangerous criminals while upholding the rights of law-abiding Americans. I believe in allowing the President latitude in choosing the people he wants to work in his administration, however, I also have significant concerns with Mr. Traver's record and will carefully review the testimony from his confirmation hearing in the Senate Judiciary Committee. Should this nomination come before the full Senate, the information you have provided will certainly help me and my staff more effectively look into this issue, and I thank you for your input. You should know that I fully support the U.S. Supreme Court's recent landmark decisions affirming, for the first time in our nation's history, that gun ownership is an individual right protected by the Constitution that must also be respected by the states. The right to own firearms for shooting, hunting, and self-protection is important to me as a Tennessean and as an American. I will be a consistent voice for the second amendment, and I will fight attempts to weaken those rights that are granted in the Constitution. Please take note of the attached "Policy Points" document to learn more about the steps I have taken to protect our 2nd Amendment rights. Thank you again for your letter. I hope you will continue to share your thoughts with me. Anyone else get this from letter?
  8. That's good info anyway, I'm another one who is mean to skunks, I've dunked a many too.
  9. time to trade.
  10. Seems like a bar code on a carry permit could dismiss you from further BG checks? Simply could be revoked if you violated the law.
  11. No matter how intrusive a background check is completed, those who want to kill with guns will find a way to obtain them, if they can't they will find other means. I'll bet the current process is full of fraud like every other government program. I don't like the invasion of privacy but the Gov. will continue to take away on our freedoms and liberties while those who destroy lives will be given additional freedoms and liberties. Sad truth.
  12. sent mine out on 3/1 through Wilson Co.
  13. Everything is OK now that the King has taken over. BTW, the economy is also doing well and those fuel prices you see....well.....just ignore them too. Also, remember that we still have enemies wanting to kill us and to not forget our Troops and service members.
  14. The election this past Nov. made a difference. What's happening in WI and the obamacare debate, (or rather lack of), is the result of what citizens can do and how they can make a difference. Don't give up, the fight has just started.
  15. more lies from the king
  16. Lets make the King irrelevant in 2012. His latest speech on the current fuel crisis proves once again that he is a bold faced lair.
  17. Wow, that's the same response I got. I'm sure he is listening very closely to We The People. Thank you very much for getting in touch with me. I'm grateful you took the time to send me your thoughts on President Obama's choice of Andrew Traver to serve as Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. All Executive appointees must be confirmed by the Senate, and I will be sure to keep your comments in mind when this nomination comes before the Senate for consideration. Sincerely, Lamar

  19. as long as they don't take the lead and iron, we'll be alright.
  20. Davidson County Sportsman's Club
  21. With the Tactical installed I have yet got the pull measured, my guess it's around 5-6lb. It's really smooth, no over travel and a very clean break. I'm happy with it. The Rocket is claimed as 3.5lb pull. Let us know. Arthur, owner of Ghost, just told me to keep the Ultimate part that didn't work for another use rather than return it, excellent service and communication IF you have any problems. The take down is very easy, follow the instructions and watch some YouTube videos on it, and be careful with the springs, after a few times of fitting you'll be a pro like me.
  22. Think I'll mix a bottle of Slick50 and ATF, label it "Super Gun Snot".
  23. Ran 200 rounds through it Sat., I like it a lot, very accurate and both of us got better as she warmed up. Added some "Glow-on" to the sights, much more visible than before. Also got a holsterpro holster off ebay coming and some grips from Custom Grips for Sig P238 (a TN vendor BTW) May run some more through it tomorrow. I'm very happy with it. Going to be a perfect CCW.
  24. One tax I don't mind paying then.
  25. BTW, what is the 10cent tax stamp on ammo used for, or rather intended for? The clerk a WallyWorld had no idea.
