  1. I remember firing box of it through my Bersa Thunder .22 with so-so accuracy.  The Remington Yellow Jackets and CCI Velocitors fared better.  Given your dilemma, I'd be in the market for a few more bolt and lever action .22s.  ;)
  2. I didn't insinuate that the DHS shouldn't be there.   I said that was the question I would have put to them.  And my descriptive comment is my personal opinion based upon Janet Napolitano's severely misguided suspicions of patriotic groups and those on the right who are openly critical of the overreaches this government has made to oppress the rights of law-abiding citizens.  To me, the comparison of this administration's goals and tactics to the genesis of the nightmare of Germany's brutal regime of the last century is not only similar but frightening.
  3. I would have liked to ask those storm troopers, "How many of those billions of taxpayer funded pistol rounds did you get?"   http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2013/05/woah-armed-dhs-guards-outside-irs-in-st-louis/
  4.   I'll give it a shot.
  5.   I did buy a couple of lottery tickets, even though I'm good on ammo.  But you should have seen my reaction when he asked if I wanted to buy a scratch-off, too.
  6. I went into a convenience store tonight and the guy at the register asked if I wanted to buy some Pow'R Ball lottery tickets. I didn't know Corbon was raffling away the ammo now.
  7. That's sticking it to 'em.......I couldn't resist.
  8. Several years ago I worked with a guy of Indian descent named Chuck Pulacondum.
  9. Has become so good at lying about others that he's been offered a job in Obama's inner circle.
  10. Entered a Clint Eastwood look alike contest, but could only qualify in the Bad and Ugly categories.
  11.   Ooops.  Forgot about your earlier post.  Egg on my face...
  12. .22 shorts work fine in my Henry.....even some that are 40 years old.  How about giving them a call, TrickyNicky?  201-858-4400
  13.   That's curious.....My Henry's favorite fodder is Winchester bulk.
  14. Somebody PM me and I'll give you some hints.
  15. Lurks around on the bersachat.com website.,,,,but that's a good thing!
  16. Gets a bit confusing when the same bit of "news" rolls around too often.  Is Reid promising a new round of gun legislation or are they just now reporting the one where he got his a$$ kicked?
  17. I'm sure the guy is having the time of his life with what he enjoys, and probably is amazed with his new found celebrity, but by my definition, he's not a collector, but an acquirer or accumulator.  All of the gun collectors I have known had a specific focus on what they were collecting, such as pre-war this or Mauser that.  Even those who collect stamps, coins or other unique objects don't take in a hodge podge of items but are very selective as to what they bring into their collection.  Even I am a collector of post marital kitschy junk.
  18. No matter the maker, every now and then something's going to happen and a boo-boo will go out the door.  I noticed that some ammo would not feed easily into my new H001.  I called Henry and they had a PREPAID UPS LABEL in my mailbox in two days.  I shipped it out via my LGS and within ten days I had my rifle back with a new carrier.  It's performed like a champ ever since.  It's nice to know that some outfits back up their words with action.
  19. I believe he's talking about the founding fathers here.
  20. Even with an intimidating, ferocious dog around, David has kept his prices at pre-panic levels.  I was happy to buy a jug of Red Dot without getting licked to death.
  21. He can't be a single-shot.
  22. Here's a video of the citizen volunteer briefing:   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZLsg0EvZozI
  23. And here's his standards to determine if you're violent:     http://www.mypalmbeachpost.com/news/news/state-regional-govt-politics/bradshaw-gets-1-million-for-violence-prevention-un/nXbs4/
  24.   The military has already stated it's position on the matter:  "Section 2.11 requires “government neutrality regarding religion.”  And Obama says he's for the 2nd Amendment.
  25. When the military lets atheists decide what's sharing your faith and what's not, how are our armed forces to conduct themselves in combat?  Will you be allowed to pray in a foxhole?  How about before chow?  I'm not talking about sandpapering others into belief in God.  That wouldn't do anybody any good if he doesn't believe it from the heart.  But it's this same kind of progressive dogmatism that is trying to get you relieved of your firearms.
