  1. Maybe they believe that students shouldn't be expected to learn all its picky details.   http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/09/16/wait-until-you-see-how-a-high-school-textbook-summarizes-the-rights-granted-in-the-second-amendment/
  2. Here's my conundrum...Every now and then I offer for sale a handgun and throw in a box or two of ammo to sweeten the deal and get a higher price for the gun.  Is this gouging?  What if the buyer is taking this bargain ammo to rape someone else with?  Oh, the morality!
  3. Corker is a businessman so he's wired to go with the plan that brings the most returns.  Hooking up with tea partiers and libertarians won't get you plum committee chairs or elite dinner party invitations.  Let's hope Tennesseans have learned the lesson not to elect senators and congressmen who will "go to Washington and compromise for you."
  4. I don't know if this is an act of repentance or not, but it seems Bob Corker has finally realized he's hitched his wagon to a dimming star.  Although he still believes Obama is "very good in an interpersonal setting," the junior senator from Tennessee expresses disappointment over how his hero has handled the Syrian issue as commander-in-chief.  Yes, senator....I feel the same way about you as a voice for us.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kxxFk8UwhYM#t=97
  5. No wonder America is in a vacuum.  He sucks.
  6. After 16 years with the United's puddle-jumping feeder, I retired just in the nick of time.  Top heavy management finally flew the airline into the ground.  These companies are money pits anyway, but wise leadership and compassion for those in the trenches who keep the business going are much more easier to bear than the biblical Pharoahic principle to "make more bricks, but find your own straw."
  7. I wonder what it's going to cost us when it's time to pay up to the Rooskies.  Oh, well, we didn't need those missile bases anyway.
  8. Equally horrifying, but thankfully shorter:   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-leC2weJSU
  9. It's free, so it'll attract a lot of deadbeats.
  10. Any site that ends in .gov
  11. Since Obama often compares himself to the likes of Lincoln, FDR and Martin Luther King, here is an excellent tongue-in-cheek piece which places Obama into the shoes of prominent figures in history:   http://www.weeklystandard.com/articles/i-came-i-saw-i-skedaddled_752783.html
  12. Just in case anyone's buying that Obama regime line that the Syrian rebels are our friends, you might want to take a look at one of the group's Facebook page and see them triumphantly marching while the U.S. Capitol burns in the background.   http://investigations.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/09/06/20348901-not-one-of-bad-guys-but-syrian-rebel-group-proclaims-anti-american-bent?lite
  13. Okay....they reproduce.  Do they vote?
  14. Because you're crazy if you don't own a gun.
  15. As expected, the gangbanger lobby is pushing back against Obama's corporate gun control order:  :jester:   http://mygunculture.com/2013/09/04/presidents-gun-control-order-will-reduce-street-crime
  16. If Obama can give out wholesale waivers to Congress and their aides, certain businesses and other groups, it's not a stretch to believe he wouldn't grant one to Muslims no matter what you call it.  The Obamacare law is filled with clauses which gives Secretary Sabelius a golden scepter to rule as she sees fit.
  17. Of course the News Sentinel is doing what it can to further the "gun show loophole" myth:     And Haslam is doing what he can to obscure the definition of "infringement:"     I believe they need to close the First Amendment loophole before tinkering with the Second.
  18. American Express was founded in 1850 and predates Wells, Fargo & Company, which began two years later.  Both companies were started by the same people so it's conceivable that Colt would make a special edition Baby Dragoon for AE if you know they did it for WF.   One of the AE logos matches the medallion on the box, but I don't know what year it was designed.  The most common one had a stagecoach motif.  As you know there's a lot of fakery and repros in these kinds of products so make sure you're dealing with someone on the up and up.
  19. Louis Jones and his wife own an art gallery in Virginia Beach.  You might contact him for info and value.   http://www.jonesart.com/
  20. Perhaps this video will explain why.........not.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TseM5QkijJA
  21. It's amazing how crossing the threshold of a posted store, bank, school or government building will transform you from a law-abiding citizen into a potential mass murderer.
  22. I hope you enjoy your BIG Labor Day Weekend... We salute our work force! But, as you know, for the last several years it's been rough. So let's all join in song for the Official Obama Labor Day Anthem! "Mr. President, Have Pity On The Working Man" HAVE A GOOD ONE!
  23. I stopped going to JS because they were so anal about putting a toe over the line, where on the table to lay loaded mags and other boot camp regimen.  Because it's their property and shooting can be dangerous, I respect the rules but I won't go back until they show better respect for the customer.
  24. As they say in West Texas.......El Paso.
  25. They qualify as factory ammo.  I wouldn't hesitate to load my guns with their fodder.
