1. Something from Ruger to keep me warm when out and about this winter.....in 9mm.
2. Some of the neighborhood kids just came to our door singing Christmas carols. It was terrific! When I started to sing along with them, they got wide-eyed and split. Must've confused them....they thought Halloween was over.   :panic: God bless 'em all.
3. I didn't really appreciate his music until years after he cleaned up and dried out.  Then his music took on a fresh quality that was hard to resist.  Gonna miss him.
4. I ordered a $40 set of walnut grips from Bersa that are slightly thicker than the OEM plastic and fit my large hands very comfortably.  I did have to file a little inside on the upper forward corner of the right grip, but it has been worth it.    http://www.bersa.com/grips/bersa-thunder-380-concealed-carry-walnut-grips.html   You might also check out this guy's thread on the bersachat.com website.  He's developing a non-wood molded set that a couple of members are evaluating before he goes into regular production.   http://www.bersachat.com/forums/showthread.php?29899-New-molded-grips-available-for-380cc
5. As the old ad slogan goes, "Sometimes you feel like a nut.....sometimes you don't."    I like that appeals court decision.  In essence, that law says that some frailties of mankind are permanent and have zero chance of recovery, even though doctors turn you loose.   Maybe now they'll give a second look at other damnable offenses that brand you as unfit to protect yourself.
6. Maybe it's a branch office.  Aren't plumbers supposed to keep the stuff moving?
7. We finally chucked the Dish and went with Roku.  It's good enough for me but the wife's having a hard time going cold turkey without her Estrogen Channel fix.  U-Verse is in the neighborhood, just not on our side of the street yet.  I think she might go out and dig the trench herself.
8. No matter what you're smoking, we'll suffer in the long run from this deal.  If you lie down with dogs, you rise up with fleas.
9. May you and yours be blessed with comfort and strength.
10.   Yes, but unfortunately low on the list of prosecutorial discretion.
11. So how come nobody ever impersonates a sailor?  There's a lot of valor in swabbing decks, ya know.
12. This guy's done a lot of footwork for ya....   http://onlygunsandmoney.blogspot.com/2014/11/doing-my-part-to-stimulate-economy-2014.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+NoLawyers-OnlyGunsAndMoney+%28No+Lawyers+-+Only+Guns+and+Money%29
13. Take 40% off of Remora holsters.   http://www.remoraholsterstore.com/
14. I just bought an LCR in 9mm for CC.  A 3" barrel would have killed the deal.
15. I don't have a dog in this fight, as I quit buying guns for the name on them years ago.  There are just too many quality firearms out there at competitive prices and a lot of buyers today don't give a hoot about tradition.  All of the big names have made marketing and design mistakes.  But one that stands out is Colt's investment in commemorative editions.  I don't know how many Colt collectors are out there but evidently there aren't enough to keep the lights burning in Hartford.  Frankly, I got tired of seeing the John Wayne this and the World War II that.  There were enough Centennial models issued that it would take another 100 years to buy them all.  I'm the basic kind of gun owner--one who wants a good working design at a reasonable price.  Just because it has a new bell or whistle on it in a different caliber is not enough to get me into the arms race.  If the industry can't come up with a more economical way of keeping us supplied in ammo, I'm not really interested in buying more safe queens.
16. I stayed up to watch this miraculous event, but I gotta say it was a bit disappointing.
17. They're blaming a lack of demand and heavily discounted sales by other makers. Maybe they ought to give Obama a few bucks to start a new gun control push.   http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2014-10-30/sturm-ruger-falls-as-slowing-gun-sales-crimp-profit.html

19. Turns out he is a muslim convert--that's no surprise.  What is a surprise is Obama immediately labeling it as a terrorist activity.  I guess that only happens outside the U.S. on his watch.   http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2014/10/obama-calls-ottawa-shooting-a-terror-attack-but-fort-hood-was-workplace-violence/
20.   Trouble is, the Supreme Court has no enforcement arm.  And the Justice Dept. is a little slow to respond to matters such as this.

Fury

As soon as the shooting started I wished I had brought my muffs.  Even the rifle reports sounded like they were inches from my ear.
22. Maybe so....but there's probably been more Americans that have slept with KK than died from Ebola in Africa.  <_<
23.   No offense, OS.....but I'm glad you made it out okay.  ;)
