I'm looking to identify this. I know its a revelation but needs work so I need a cross reference. I first thought it was the same as a Mossberg 195k-a but not so sure now. I'm working on buying this but it needs some parts. magazine, maybe a stock ect. I'm waiting on a "revelation" model # but in the meantime here it is........................................ We are issued UnderArmour "speedfreeks" I'm a newly hired reserve so don't have much to compare with, but they are very comfy.

IMHO, if you grow your own food and have the equipment then it is cheaper and definitely better tasting. The initial "dive" into canning is expensive but in the long run it is more cost effective. Plus I love the feeling  of accomplishment when I hear the "ping" of the lids as they cool  :pleased:

I am proud to find this tread. I was afraid myself and my dad were the only men who loved canning. We can everything from meats to fruits and everything in between. I actually made some pickled zucchini chips and wow!, your tongue will beat your brains out eating them

We now have an '89 coleman that the wife and I LOVE! but really miss the ease of the bal leveler.

I'm not sure why I'm in awe of bolt action shotguns but they intrigue me. I've never owned one, but have found a guy that has a slew of them and is selling at what seems to be the going price for them. I really want a 20ga to use rifled slugs in for hogs, but the wife wants one for a bedside gun and to possibly bird hunt with. What are y'alls opinions on them. At this moment just wanting a general idea of the accuracy and ease of use these guns may or may not possess, a pros and cons type of advice I suppose. He has mossbergs, jc higgins, stevens, etc. No high end brands.

I'm looking for glock 27 mags and remember an online company that had great prices on all types of magazines. In fact I believe they had there own "copy" brands. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Just putting it out there, I do professional guides for 1/2-1 hr snipe hunts in Sevier County on a regular basis. :)

I did the trade, however I do miss my SIG it was a fine weapon and was a great price. I found it was too large of a frame for me and to carry with great comfort. I am very pleased with my trade. 

  Trigger work was by a reputable gunsmith in Maryville so I'm not worried. I've read up a lot about that as well and have heard good things about the kits and what not.

As my wife points out I research things to death. I'm not a Glock person and for that I am researching the he** out of it. I like the fact that in a SHTF moment I can use my 23 mags in the 27 that is unless I mis-read something. That is a big plus factor in my decision

First and foremost I'm not fishing for any offers. I have a guy already willing to trade on another site, however I trust y'alls opinions and I try to research everything about anything I'm about to acquire so here goes. I have a 2yr old SIG SP2022 in .40cal I am fancying a Glock 27 Gen 3 that is 3yr old. I am issued a Glock 23 as my duty weapon and wanted a back up that is functionally the same, but I am strapped for cash so trading is my only way to go. The gentleman that has the glock is a stand up guy and the weapon has had trigger work, comes w/3 mags and an ankle holster. I'm offering my sig w/ 1 mag, hard case, lock, paperwork and a paddle holster even. What is your opinion on the trade? I love my SIG but its hard to carry in the summertime.

Anytime I can get a deal I want one :) that being said, I would put it at "very good" condition which per the "book" I have is $150, but I realize sometimes those are unrealistic prices and wanted others opinion. 

I am trying to work a deal on a Mossberg 500 20ga pump. The current owner states it is 10yrs old and had a few hundred rds shot. From the pictures I can see the magazine tube has some wear and appears the receiver has some bluing wear. Wood looks pretty good. He is wanting $200 but IMHO it is valued more around $150. its not straight or stainless. I believe the straight stock was the "mountie" 39m

I am currently trying to purchase a Marlin lever rifle. Stamped on the barrel is "Marlin Original Golden 39-AS" I can find info on 39a, m, etc but nothing on the "as" what is this elusive thing? What little I can find is it has a smooth stock and this "as" model came out about 1984 possibly and started the checkering on the stock in the early '90's

I've had a couple of Kel-Tecs in the past and never had an issue. So thanks I may look into them again.
