i havent seen a 15-3 in a long time! my grandfather used to carry one when he was a guard at the federal reserve in nashville

figured i would update this, I contacted the FDR archives and they pointed me where to try and look and so far I have found nothing, either the story/rumor is fake or it was a different president all together, considering my great great grandmother was born in 1900 who knows, but so far I am coming up empty handed.

donated by someone in my family, unfortunately the only person who remembers is my grandmother and even she said by the time it was donated the letter was lost

they do not, they didnt even know about it until i contacted them a couple of years ago about the quilt asking for a picture of it, the only people that i can safely say that had the letter is family members who had it/saw it before they passed away and before the letter was lost

as in TN state archives? how would they have something like that just out of curiosity ?

hey everyone need some help on something, there is a story on my grandmothers side of the family that a member of her family sent a quilt to President Franklin D. Roosevelt and he ended up sending it back with a letter saying that it should stay in the family, currently the quilt is in storage at the tn state museum, but i was wondering if such a letter would have been archived at all by the government during that time period as the copy of the letter my family had was lost decades ago and it would be nice to get a copy if one still exists some where. any information on where i might look or contact would be very helpful

that sounds like a place near an hoa or something and they can pound sand

thats why you tell the atf to pound sand, they cant ban anything or make law

from what i have read i dont need to register or serialize a receiver or a receiver flat unless i am wanting to sell it, i dont have to register with an ffl that has never been a thing unless you live in a anti 2a state, most what i have to do is make sure it can never be made full auto which is easy, now if i were building a semi auto smg and wanted to use the same length barrel it would have had i would have to register it as an sbr other wise i just use a 16 inch or longer barrel and its fine, someone can correct me if i am wrong

i dont mind clean up as i feel like it would help me be better at it a little bit if that makes sense, someone near me is selling a flux core welder and a plasma cutter for $250 i may grab that

most of what i plant to weld is mild steel and i dont want to spend that much for something i will use a handful of times and then it will sit in a corner for the rest of the time, this is for hobby work only

the only thing i am wanting to do with it is put together my uzi, pps43/52 and cetme c parts kits and any other kits i might get in the future

ive been watching reviews for some of these $250 or less welders, not the 110v but some of them are dual 110v and 220v, i have tried finding a decent used one but they are about the same price as a new one

in my area there are no maker spaces and i really wish there was i would like to eventually learn tig to start building my cetme c and other parts kits
