Thanks, Omega. I probably need to try one of the kinetic pullers and grab one for the one offs. I factory crimp all of my loads so I guess in my mind, that will make it much more difficult with a kinetic puller. Brandon

In my meager year of reloading, I have amassed a small collection of cartridges that I had any doubts about (or simply knew they wouldn't work... you know, like when I'd forget to put a primer in) and would love to pull them apart and try to reuse the projectiles I can. I'm not really wanting to use the impact puller, but was thinking of getting one of the press and collet pullers. Which one do you guys like best? Brandon

Anyone interested? I've got a little over 300 30-30 and about 250 270 cases I'd like to trade for 30-06 or 30 carbine if anyone is interested. I've also got a little bit of 357 sig, but I haven't counted them yet. Thanks, Brandon

A couple of clamps later, I'm using the TriWay Cutter vertically. Haha! I can trim, chamfer, and deburr about 500 rounds an hour with this thing. Not bad! I did find out, though, that I can only do 30 carbine with their big setup, not with this one. That was a bit of a bummer. If I start shooting enough 30 carbine, though, I'll probably buy one. Don't know that I will just yet, though. I also ordered another 5 lbs of pins so I can do more brass at once. I have collected a few more pounds of 380 and 223 recently that I need to decap and clean. Hopefully I can get those done this week. Brandon

I read in the instructions that it's better to run it vertically. I'm thinking about adding some legs to stand this up so it will be vertical. Lete ask you this... Do you find cases that get a bit of a gouge in them and then stick to the cutter? When this happens, I have to very slowly and gradually push the case against the cutting head until the gouge is gone. Am i aybe pushing them in too fast? Brandon

Edit: I'm a dunce. I was looking at the tumbler side of the motor... which was clockwise... which means the other end of the shaft is counterclockwise. DOH! This is actually working out perfectly. :) Got it setup and it works great! Thanks for the recommendation, Hershmeister. It's ugly, but it works well. That's all I care. :) Ignore the tape on the powered bar... that will be changing for some pipe insulation soon. :) Brandon

Good news... I think my Giraud trimmer is coming in today... and I fly back in tonight... WOOHOO!!!!  Should be able to attach it and trim my first cases tomorrow night.  Can't wait! Brandon

Haha!  I suppose I did.  :)  Thanks.     I think it's going to work out really well.  I was thinking I'd be running multiple drums, but there's really no need.  I can do at least 3 lbs of brass per run, and could do more if I had more SS pins, of which I'll order soon.  The container I have right now only has one paddle in it, so I do think I'll build another one the same size and put two paddles on.  My primer pockets aren't as clean as I think they could be, and I think more pins and another paddle will likely help that.  Don't get me wrong, they're still being cleaned for the most part, but just a tiny bit of gunk in them.  If I'm gonna do this, might as well tweak until 3 hours of tumbling equals perfectly cleaned brass.   Brandon

Maybe if it looked better... lol  I was going for pure functionality on this one.   :)  I'm very happy with it and glad I didn't A) do the ultrasonic route and b: buy the tiny tumblers from Harbor Freight.   :)   I'm really looking forward to getting the Giraud hooked up, though.  I feel like that's the real gem in this build... if it were a news headline, perhaps it would read "Free motor pulls double duty for reloader!"  Haha! The tumbler is tumblin! It's ugly as sin, but I never meant for it to look good. :) I've got some brass that is 1.77" that I'm looking forward to trimming down once the Giraud arrives. :) Brandon
