  1. I switched to Bing quite a while ago. Google was getting too far out in left field for me, even then. Problem with Bing lately, is all the crap they stick at the bottom of the homepage. Hopefully, Google will die on the vine.
  2. That's great. Go with it if it suits you. I had an aftermarket plate on the Glock I had, but can't for the life of me remember what it was. Can't see how anyone could complain about "We The People", except maybe a Liberal. Of course, they'd complain if you hung 'em with a new rope.
  3. Add Eric Holder for 2nd place.
  4. Could very well be true.
  5. If this is like the DW of a few years ago, you can't beat it. I had one in 357 & 44 mag. 357 was the best shooting gun you would need. Wish I still had it. Enjoy....
  6. In hindsight, post wise, we have Truglo on our duty Glock22s. I like them better than Trijicon, but they don't offer them as yet for my PPQ. Trijicons are good, but Truglos just seems to be brighter, at leat on my gun. YMMV. Don't think you would be unhappy with either.
  7. What Caster said, LOL. I have Trijicons on my PPQ, green front, yellow rear. Work great. You'll need a sight pusher for the glock, might as well go on & get one. The PPQ required no special tools. Waking up in the middle of the nite, seeing those little green/yellow eyes shining, almost as good as.......never mind.
  8. My daughter & twin Grandboys (8 yrs) got me homemade cards, store bought cards, & an EZ EYES keyboard for the PC. Thing's bright yellow. Easy to find, as well. LOL The boys shot the BB a bit & tossed the nerf football, watched the squirrels in the back yard. Fun!
  9. Murphy's Law, rides again!
  10. In case anyone's interested, Walmart in Lebanon now has Rem. UMC 40 S&W 180 gr. FMJ, 250 rd. mega pack in stock. I was by there tonite, they had 4 packs in stock for $79 + tax, around $84 total. Also had 100 rd box for $36 + change + tax. I picked up a mega pack. Cheaper than online. Most are around $85 + S/H. or about $100 or so. My stock is getting a bit low so decided to grab some while it's there.

Not to worry, someone will no doubt come out with a 30 rd mag for it. I had a XDm full size in 40, which of course had the grip safety. Never really liked the idea, but never had a problem with function either. One of those things you either hate or love.
  12. OS, that's kinda what I was asking about. This kinda stuff at a "gun" show makes my butt want a dip of snuff. Sounds like the Expo show might be the way to go.....if I can ever make it up there. Thanks
  13. My PD/SD load is the same as my duty carry, Rem. Golden Saber 180 gr. JHP 40 S&W. Leaves no room for argument as to hot loads, etc. On the other hand. if that wasn't available for whatever reason, and the SHTF, I'll use whatever is handy. I'd rather argue in court than the morgue.
  14. Have no idea what his motives may be, but at least he's on the right side for a change.
  15. These hearings are much like the fox guarding the hen house. Not holding my breath 'til they actually do something with this piece of crap, other than put on a show of raking him over the coals, with no actual results. Photo ops all around, adjourn, move on. Nothing done. Sucks!! Just the way it works....or doesn't.
  16. dlm, which is the better of the two shows, Chilhowee or Expo? Know you attend both regularly. I'd like to make one of these sometime in the future, since the RK shows have fizzled out in mid state.
  17. LOL. mcurrier is definitely the go to guy for cartoons on TGO. I love it when a plan comes together, or in this case, blows up!
  18. This is how they make a lot of their money. $10 item, $8.95 S&H. Ripoff to be sure.
  19. J.G. Wentworth has to be at the top of the list Geico & Progressive with the Flo Ho Bart ( face lift ) Durham Dodge Ram...guts & glory...who came up with that Cialis (sp), all the scene changes, and twin tubs. Why are they not in the same tub....sheesh!
  20. Made the show about 11am. Didn't find anything I couldn't live without. Have to agree, David had the best display. Lots of reloading stuff. Just didn't need anything today. Show/parking, still not worth $13. Absolutely unbelievable we can't get a decent size show in this area.
  21. Concealed carry only. Just don't want the BG to know I'm armed. Prefer the element of surprise on my side. Others may do as they like, fine with me.
  22. Both should be a good show. I'll be tuned in.......
  23. Reloading manuals + ABCs of Reloading. Must have. Read first.
  24. Gotta mention barrel length & penetration on a gun site at some point in time.........
