  As to the VA, I do the same, leave it at home. VA @ the 'boro has it signed at the entrance to the property. Just wondering why this would apply to the PO parking lot & not the VA. Same Gov.

Unless it's a need on the 911 level, I wouldn't drive 70 mi one way to see it. Gonna cost you $8 adm. + $5 to park.

Went about 10:30am, bought a couple boxes of 9mm ammo. Didn't find the powder I was wanting. Saw a bunch of folks around the walls with private stuff. All in all a good show. IMO

Flotation suit might be in order.

I'll agree with 6.8, the Feds have lied, covered up, screwed up so many incidents, their credibility is nil. Of course, whatever evidence to the contrary, is now long since buried alongside Hoffa.

I agree, it's not a good idea, for many reasons. 1st. we don't know who these "rebels" are ( see how the Egypt thing turned out. 2nd, as another poster said, this area has never been stable & never will. 3rd. we can't afford it. 4th, Wag The Dog may be the case, BHO could use a good diversion right about now.

I'd be in for patches or pins/both. Don't do the match thing, but would be nice for an identifier at gun shows or where ever.

Probably be a good idea to check with David before using TGO logos.

In 2013, thus far, I've bought one box of 40s at a gun show, 3 boxes at Walmart, and 2 boxes at Ft. Campbell, to replace what I have allowed myself to shoot up.These were at reasonable prices. I flat refuse to buy at double or triple price from anyone. That includes reloading components. Obviously, I haven't shot a lot of ammo lately. I have what I consider as a fair amount on hand ( not in the thousands ). Personally, I can't see where scalpers, or whatever you want to call 'em, do us a service. We were getting along just fine before they started their practice. If someone wants to pay $2 a round for ammo, I guess that's up to them. As they say, there's one born every minute. Getting gouged just never appealed to me. JMHO

Used to do quite a bit of bow fishing back in the '60s. Had an old recurve bow, and was quite good with it, After I got my legs shot up in 'Nam, had a hard time stringing the thing up. Swapped for a compound bow. Couldn't do very well with it. Always fished from the banks around sloughs, etc. Lot of fun too. My biggest was a carp of 15lbs.

Rest assured, the Mayor knows full well it kills events. That's the whole purpose. Once all is gone, he can turn it over to his handpicked developers for other use. This is taking much longer than he would like. As other posters have said, Goodmans show is nowhere near what it was back in the day. Can't blame all of that on Metro tho. Been going downhill before Dean.
