  1. Neat! How's the accuracy? I ran a CNC ( larger version ) for 15 yrs. One had a 54ft table. Handy machine to have around. Can't count the times I wish I had one in my little shop. Have fun..........
  2. I had a Colt M16 w/ M203 attached underneath in 'Nam. Also own a Colt AR15. No complaints.
  3.  The Lee Bulge Buster kit will take it out, along with the Lee carbide sizer die. It pushes the brass up thru the die & sizes the entire cae. I've done a big bunch of them that way. Had no issues. Redding also make a die for it. More expensive than Lee but does the same job. The Lee unit also has a hopper on top that collects the brass as it comes thru. Rather neat.
  4. I don't have Netflix, but it'll eventually wind up on satellite ( along with 3 million commercials ).
  5.    Same here. There has been a series on the old mobs on Directv lately. Good stuff, if you like that sort of thing.  It would take several movies to cover all the crimes Whitey did over the years, then disappear in Calif. for years.
  6. If you're willing to buy online, I bought mine from Gunstop. No issues with them. If you're wanting to do a FTF, then never mind, LOL. Doubt many are wanting to part with them.
  7. Used to hunt Bicolor quite bit, but it's been several years. Saw quite a bit of hog sign, one of my buds saw a bunch of hogs , but never got a shot. Probably about equal at either place. Wish you luck.   Did see a few back then that had been killed. Mean looking cusses.
  8.    You nailed it. All you need for a boat is money for the boat & registration. Ridiculous, but that's the way it is. Actually, not much better with an automobile.
  9.    No apology required, LOL. I figured you guys would get a chuckle out of that. As it just so happens, it's not the first mistake I ever made either. It's so easy, I may just make a few more. :ugh:
  10. Went to the last show in the 'boro. Bought a coke & chips.....cash.    On second thought, I did buy 1lb. cans of powder. Guess that was it. DOn't know what happened to the receipt, tho.  Thanks for reminding me of that.    Memory is a wonderful thing........when it works, LOL.   Disregard the post...dang! ( face a bright red )
  11. Anyone ever do any business with this company? I had never heard of them until now. Going over my bank statement, I found a charge against my debit card for $ 60.34. Don't know for what. I never use my debit card online. So, did they charge this in error or otherwise? Will try to call them tomorrow & see what's up. BBB shows nothing either way. They are located In Riceville,TN, down below Athens.
  12. I tried it once, wasn't comfortable for me, dug into my leg when sitting. I carry on my side @ 3 o'clock. Comfortable standing, walking, sitting, laying, whatever. And, of course, keep my finger, or anything else away from the trigger.
  13. Well, there was one item that caught my attention. It was a Walther CCP 9mm. My mouth has watered ever since I first laid eyes on it some time back in a magazine. Having said thet, I also belong to the Walther forum, and most of the early reports were awful. Poor workmanship, dirty, burrs, FTF, FTE, etc,. you get the idea. Lately tho, seems like later prod. runs have improved. These folks are delighted with this gun. So........ I found a couple today from Speciality Arms, tried the trigger & slide. ALl worked good. Locked the shide to peek inside & it looked a biot dirty from the ship. greas, etc. but didn't see anything that didn't belong. Dang, I get long-winded talking about a new gun, LOL. So, if I can sell my Taurus PT709, I just may take one of those babies home. Just one more thing to gnaw away at me for awhile. That's all I got to say about that........
  14. Made the show this am around 9, pretty good show, didn't see quite as much junk as usual. Bought a couple lbs. powder, made 2 tours, headed for home. Did see maybe a 1/2 doz.empty tables.
  15. Well, if the crowd is anything like the response on this thread, you can hear a pin drop & then find it.
  16. I've de-capped them with a universal de-cap die, never had an issue. I put mine in a sandwich bag add some water & let 'em soak. Don't trust them after that pin hits the anvil. Caster said he's done it so it's likely ok. He's been around the reload block a day or two, LOL. I'm just not a trusting soul.
  17. That's cool, PJ. If it works, that's all you need to do.
  18.    When I was a youngster, I used my middle finger ( right hand ), all the time. Worked great or that. Just a matter of adjusting.  This was with my Red Ryder BB. Not sure why or when I changed over.
  19.    If it doesn't have a cal. weight(s), buy a set. They're not expensive, but come in handy. I always check my scale bofore starting to reload. Call it peace of mind. Welcome to the club, rugerla1, and best of luck. There is a wealth of info on TGO. All are helpful, friendly, and on occasion, knowledgeable. LOL
  20.  May be a bit early, but just i case, RK will be back in the 'boro 8/29 & 30, according to their website. ( I give no personal guarantee here, they've been known to change their plan ). Also, it says they are back in the original 'air conditioned building'. Hope I'm able to attend this time. Health didn't permit for last show., or much of anything else, LOL.
  21.   The US would probably just invade. They've already gotten by with it once @ Ruby Ridge.
  22. A mountain top in Idaho with a good field of fire.
